Super blurry from the second I test drove it. Took it to my dealer they said its pretty common, for all three issues. Kinda sucks spending 60k on a car and have issues right out the gate...

Yeah I'm a Toyota owner on the cusp of buying a JT and it gives me pause reading this forum. One way I'm mitigating the issue is buying a 2021(new steering box, even had the salesman send me a pic of box) with the least optioned version. Even that concerns me. But Toyota has nothing that competes with it.

Forums will give you a taste of what common issues are out there, but not what YOUR odds are.
There are more JT owners out there than are on the web.
My JT has had only a couple of things - the tonneau cover was loose - resolved with a new one, and I had the TSB performed.
Otherwise it's truly been great.
I've had VERY good luck with Jeep vehicles for decades, the few times there have been issues, none have been show stoppers and all ended up being resolved.
Good luck buying a vehicle that won't have any issues at all.
Even Mercedes had to recall OVER A MILLION vehicles due to sun roofs that FLEW OFF THE CARS while driving. I bet a few of those cost more than a JT (I know Mercedes has moderately priced vehicles, too)
Forums are where you see complaints so it's more to find out what sort of problems may exist, not what percentage of people will see that problem.

Don’t let me discourage you...It’s sucks that they have some issues out the gate but to be honest nothing is going to let you get off-road like a Jeep and a Toyota will never turn as much heads as a Jeep. I’ve only had it for a few days and I’ve been stopped at lights or in parking lots to be asked or complimented about it.
I had my JK for 5 years and I had ONE issue that the dealer had to resolve in that entire time, it was a bad O2 sensor but that was it. These are amazing vehicles with no real competition.

Yeah, different dealers are in different regions and get parts from different places.
Even in Iowa, the dealer I bought from is in a different region than the one that we're buying my wife's new Grand Cherokee through. I think one was Chicago or KC and the other is in the Denver region. Both dealers are in Iowa.
My JT itself was shipped and arrived in 2 days - I suspect it will be 2 weeks for my wife's new GC to get here once done.

just remember dealerships are not owned by the car company so maybe just be done with that dealership.Got mine back today. It’s slightly better, but seriously Jeep/FCA, I’m done.

I'm seeing a few folks have issues with the power steering fluid getting spilled all over their engine bay after their dealership completes the TSB.

My guess is that some techs have no pride in their work and just want to get to the next job as they're paid on commission. It's normal to spill things as you work but some don't clean up after themselves.

As a former mechanic, I'm shocked to see this mess too. If you apply the mindset that the mechanic's time is too valuable to clean up the vehicle afterward, then the job should have been passed to the low-wage detail guys/gals so they can steam clean the engine compartment and suspension before the vehicle is returned to the customer.
This type of stuff is a cascading leadership failure. The service writer and service manager should have caught this before the customer was ever told the vehicle was ready for pickup, and the mechanic chastised.
My steering gear will be getting replaced soon. Now I know to inspect for this before taking back possession of the truck.

Okay. Thought I was missing something on how the PS fluid was removed/inserted into the reservoir. The spillage I've seen so far in the posted pics show an explosion of sort of the fluid vs. a bad pour job by the tech.
Either way, everyone should be checking their PS fluid levels and look out for spillage after getting this service.

The shop is paid a flat 1.9 hours or something like that. If things take longer - and they can, as Forrest Gump's shirt said - it happens..........
As far as fluid up high - did they not bleed off pressure? There's no reason for it to be up high, not that I can see from sitting here.
Below - yeah, there was fluid on my frame, pitman arm and a couple of other steering or suspension parts. I wiped it down but it was still annoying.
But up above the steering gear itself, when you should be able to lower it down and not bring it up for removal, I can't explain fluid up high unless they pulled hoses up to prevent fluid running out?
Luckily we were NOT on commission - the boss ended that just shortly after I started. He saw the issues it caused and figured he had hired the best anyway - we weren't about to sit around doing nothing. We were more family there than just employees. Did we need to not waste time? You bet - we were normally barely keeping up, but the focus was 100% customer satisfaction, no exceptions.
You gave the customer vehicle back either as clean or CLEANER than when you started. For some things we even vacuumed out the interior.
I can see with the strict time limit on the TSB and warranty work where they may get it in, make the fix, get it out and not clean up their mess - irritating as heck as I like a clean engine bay - it needs to look factory fresh. (anyone who has seen my cars will attest to that)

Mine had spots below like there was fluid from the swap - but up above it was perfect. Even the reservoir was clean with no spillage at all - not a drop. It could be that they wiped things off down below because there was no dripping, it just looked wet. Normally the shop that does our warranty work is pretty good that way.
This is indeed messy work when you remove PS lines and hoses, so you'd expect some traces of fluid, but not clear up high above the steering gear itself.
