I try to look for any excuse to get out of the house... and if I know I'm going somewhere, I really can't wait to drive. Never had this feeling with any other vehicle before!

I am a recovering 2xTacoma owner. The first time I saw a Gladiator in a magazine, Sep. 2019 (I didn't know they were going to make trucks again), I had traded in my 2017 Tacoma by Thanksgiving. From the first day I drove off the lot It's been nothing but fun to drive. Fun, Fun, Fun; with the doors and top off.....forget about it. Best truck I've ever owned.

Amen! One and a half years later and it’s still a dream!
A convertible truck. No Doors for half the year. Plus I have a truck with a manual. It’s perfect and still puts a smile on my face!

I find it hilarious when some girly-man “journalist” on an auto blog ranks it last in half sized pickups because it isn’t as “smooth“ in daily city driving or doesn’t get the best gas mileage. That a-hole doesn’t have a clue.

I rank it the best truck because I prefer driving with the doors off way more than saving 20 bucks a month in gasoline.

Also, I think the Gladiator drives smoother than any convertible truck on the market!

I have a little commuter car I drive out to the jobsite, 40 minutes each way. It helps keep the miles off the new Gladiator. But man it's hard to walk by the Jeep every morning to get in that little thing.
By the time the last day of the week rolls around, I can't take it anymore.
My co-workers now call Fridays "Jeep Day". :CWL:
Ive always been a “Car” enthusiast and have had something “fun” sometimes that was just an old pickup due to funds, but fun to me.... and Friday was usually the day to drive it to the job site!

I’m using my jt as my daily driver , I piled the miles on my jku It’s a big reason why I got it, makes the commute an adventure!!! ?. (And exactly what “arkamsaspig” said above!)

I don't how they rank it last either. For all intents and purposes 10-15 years ago it would of out gunned most full sized trucks. Calling it mid-sized is a sign of the glorious times we are in automotively.

Your average half ton comes off the lot ready to tow 11K and has 400hp. That was super truck territory backnin the day. 11K, that is like skidsteer yanking territory. At any rate solid axles, optional top, 1200lb payload, 7000lb tow, and 280hp, that can go anywhere you point it. Sign me the F up! I made mine 400hp so I could screw with big trucks lol.

My truck is a badass. Does everything I need it to do and does it well. Even looks great doing it! Perhaps the best all around daily driver I have ever owned.

I've had the Gladiator for a year as of today and none of the fun of owning a convertible off-road truck has worn off. I did a lease to see how I liked it, first time Jeep owner, and can honestly say that as long as they make it, I will be driving a Gladiator. Only question when my lease is up will be diesel or Mojave.

When I get strangers asking me questions about my “Jeep truck” asking why I got it.... I say “I had to have it!” I went from a 3/4 Tom gmc to a 2015 jkur which I loved having the soft top and hard top option... especially in the summer, but I missed having a truck bed, got my dream truck and I love my fucking truck! So much fun and I can’t wait to take the doors and top off more this year!!! (Bought in late august before we started corn harvest so I got to take the top off once)

So funny, I was driving mine yesterday thinking that the JT is just “DEEP” it’s more than a “Jeep Thing”. I’ve had my share of ups and downs this last year and recently something very violent happened to my best friend’s family. I’ve been lost for a few weeks, left all social media for a bit.

Driving the JT and going to help another old friend with his Jeep last weekend got me moving again.

I, like all of you can’t wait to get in the driver’s seat of the JT. I’ve had a lot of Jeeps and this one is different in so many ways!

For me my JT was just the right thing for 2020... and now 2021!
