Did you buy your JT because of the bed or for towing???

Definitely the 'Wrangler with a bed' factor.

Hauling an adventure trailer with a Wrangler is sick... but the bed option essentially takes that trailer and throws it on the ass end of your frame.

First it is “cool” and it has a bed.

I have to mention both, but only because my feeling has changed 180 degrees since I bought it.

First of all I wanted a Jeep, and the idea that I could tow a 4,000 lb trailer with it was what made me take the Jeep leap.

Then I found that I've not had a need for towing but I've found so many benefits from having the bed back there that I realize THAT's where it's at for me. The bed has actually kept me from needing to hook up a trailer to carry stuff.

At some point I'll probably buy a small travel trailer which was in the original plan, but having the bed on my Jeep is the true game-changer.

I have always wanted a Jeep. If I was a smart person, I would have kept 200k mileage pickup and just picked up a used Jeep. However - when Gladiator came out...it scratched both itches.

I love this vehicle

For both...I wanted a truck, a Jeep and I tow.

I also have a Wrangler and I had been wanting a Brute for many years and couldn't wait to have Jeep make one.

If they made a full size Gladiator I'd get that.

I currently tow a Polaris RZR and trailer with my 2018 JLU Rubicon. Even though I only tow about 2500lbs. total weight, the Rubicon is not a great tow vehicle. I've had 5 Wranglers and wanted to keep driving them so, a JT was the next best option.

Ahhh, you made this tough. 1st priority moving from. JKUHR was going from 3500 pound Tow capacity to the Max Tow’s 7600 pound capability. My wife wants a travel trailer that weighs about 2500lbs dry, but easily will reach that 3500 lb Max of my 2016 JKUHR, plus the added gear in the truck will reduce tongue weight quickly. I’ve owned half ton full size trucks as well as 1 ton diesels. Great for towing but a pain to daily drive. The Gladiator Max Tow fits the need for owning just one vehicle.

Towing was the priority this time.

Good question!

The bed. I don't have anything to tow (yet). I did get the hitch so I could load up my longer kayaks with a bed extension.

Both - but priority is tow. We had a reservation on a new Bronco but I just couldn't accept the 3,500 lbs towing rating. We cut firewood in the NFS and use it to (help) heat the house. A cord of pine is at least 4,000 lbs, not including the trailer. This also pushed me away from the Mojave.
