Rubicon with high fenders? Do you wheel it? I would think you will rub quite a bit on the 37s if you are flexing it out at all. So 38s would be worse. I would not do 37s without a 2.5” lift on a rubicon and 3.5” on a non rubicon. But if you never leave the paved road it will likely be fine just look stuffed.

I got 2.5" on my JT with 37's and I could fit 39's but I'd be rubbing on a trail. I think on a non Rubicon you can do a 2.5 inch lift and 37's without rubbing unless you flex all the way out. I would think on a Rubicon you would be ok on 38's.

I already have 37’s.... am getting a diesel and thinking about 38’s
Yeah I think if you add a 2.5" lift to it you will be just fine. I got Rubicon take off front springs on mine with the 2.5" ReadyLift and I rolled a 39 12.5 17 Kanati Mud Hog up to mine and me and the guy lifted it to where it would probably sit mounted and I had room for them. A 38 I wouldn't even hesitate to not do it if I was considering them.
