I am buying new wheels and tires.
Currently I have:
Black Rhino Armory 17x8 +30mm offset (they look great and almost no tire poke)
37x12.5 Kanati Mud Hog tires (they look great but the tires suck, they are extremely noisy and have a bad shat between 50 and 60MPH)

I am buying Black Rhino Arsenal 20x9.5 0mm offset (I would rather get the 20x9 Armory but they have -18mm offset and I want as little tire poke as possible)

I want tires that last the longest but do not make a ton of noise… Not really sure I want the KO3s but...
My tire choices are-
Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 37x11.50R20 (36.77” - 77lbs)
Goodyear Wrangler Boulder M/T 37x12.5R20 (36.76” - 79lbs)
Toyo Open Country M/T 37x12.5R20 (36.77” - 85lbs)
BF Goodrich AT KO3 37x12.5R20 (36.5” - 67lbs)
Any experiences?

I had a set of the Toyo MT’s years ago and I liked them. Rotated properly and they did good on my heavier superduty. Surprisingly not bad in winter either. If that matters to you. Can’t really remember how loud they were but it’s an MT tire so you’d have to expect some loudness. Especially compared to the BFG.

I had Toyo MTs years ago on my Tacoma and loved them. They are just the heaviest of all the tires. They do last a very long time.
I am starting to lean towards the Nitto Trail Grapplers just because they come in the 11.50 wide, that would help with tire poke…

I highly recommend the Milestar Patagonia 02’s. I have a set of 37x12.5x17. They are mud tires. They have a 40 thousand mile tread wear warranty and they run super quiet and comfy. My gas mileage even went up 2 miles per gallon. They have a center rail that the vehicle rides very smoothly and quiet on. My set is brand new and I purchased another set and put them in my barn to replace the old set when they are dead………give them a look.

I just got a set of these not too long ago as well. Pretty good tires that are wearing well on a lot of driving. Just make sure you have a good shop do the balance as they can have issues there.

I also do not off-road… I just saw that Falken makes a Wildpeak R/T01 37x11.50R20. That may be a possibility.
My big concern is the tires not sticking out. My current setup is perfect. But the rims are 8” with an offset of 30mm with Kanati Mud Hogs 37x12.5R17 10 PLY (36.8 - 73lbs - SW 13.03) on them. So going with a 9.5” rim with an offset of 0mm is going to push them out. That is why I am considering a 11.50 width tire. I prefer the 12.50 (and there are a lot more options), but I don’t want them sticking out..

Can you get a narrower wheel to help with your poke? Maybe an 8" or 8.5" wide?

I looked, I can’t find any that roughly look the same as I have. If I was keeping the 17” rims it would not be a problem, but I like the look of theb 20’ better..

I'm confused. Why do you have a lifted Jeep and shop for off-road tires if you do not drive off-road?
Because that is what I like… Same reason people buy superbikes that go 180mph but drive them on the street.

He built his Jeep for "looks" (his personal preference), and it does look good! :)
