You can run pretty much any lift that doesnt require a drag link flip or offset shock mounts.Hello
I have a JT rubicon with 35x12.5
x17 on a 9 inch rim and wanted to see what was the best lift to get to overland with that will work with 5 in back spacing. Seems lots of lifts needs 4.75 or less any thoughts?
AEV with AEV wheels.
Thanks for the info was planning to either go Clayton 2.5 or maybe an evo 2.5. I already have 9 inch wide rims with nitto ridge grapplers 35x12.5 so just want to get the best lift possible for a daily driverYou can run pretty much any lift that doesnt require a drag link flip or offset shock mounts.
For overlanding and a 35” tire? Options are near endless.
- mojave take off’s if you want gucci bypass shocks
- AEV as @Mac mentioned
- An Icon kit
- AEV spacer lift with nicer shocks if you want
- a clayton kit
The list goes on. Just depends on your budget. Keeping the tire tucked to the fender doesnt mean you cant have a grrat driving truck.

I talked to both company and they said rubicon may be ok with 5 inch back spacing but full flex locked may be an issue so idk if I want to chance itProbably not MetalCloak or Rock Krawler because of their offset/backspacing requirements, but pretty much all others.
Shoot. The Mopar lift would be fine. Very reasonable spring rates, not over priced for a dealer option, good shocks....add a cheap drive shaft carrier bearing drop and a geo bracket(or longer lca to get caster out) to it and Bob’s your uncle. Thanks for the info was planning to either go Clayton 2.5 or maybe an evo 2.5.
