Any suggestions what to say to have steering TSB repairs approved?

Did a search on this site, and have read the posts.

On Wednesday the OVERLORD is going in for a JEEP WAVE Oil change and tire rotation, a State Inspection, and evaluation for the Steering TSB. So far the dealership has been pretty good.

Any suggestions on what to say to seal the deal and have the repairs approved?

I've read the TSB, and know the complaint, and I have 'em. Noted since new, and especially bad if I have a load in the bed or towing my little trailer.

Shouldn't be any problem. Just tell them the problems and to do the tsb.

First dealership I bought it from (Capital Jeep Indian Trail) said they wouldn’t do it which was kind of shitty as the sales experience was best ever. Took it to Keffer Keep in Charlotte where they did my lift and rims/tires and they did it with no questions asked but unfortunately here the sales people sucks but parts and service are amazing!

I just told Hendricks about it and Frank gave me a list and asked if it was doing anything on the list. I said yes and they ordered the parts. Had it done about 3 weeks ago, so far so good. Make sure they do the computer flash and a alignment as well. Hendricks told me mine qualified for lifetime alignment from the dealership since they had to mess with the suspension under warranty and do a alignment, not sure if that's just them or across the board.

That went pretty well.

WAVE tire rotation ... CHECK!

WAVE oil change ... CHECK!

State Inspection ... FAIL, tinted windows? Really, you inspected it last time, no issues.

Steering TSB ... Parts Ordered.

I had printed up the TSB, highlighted the areas where mine was affected. Added a couple of notes how it was MUCH worse with a load in the bed, and worse still when trailering.

The service manager commented, "Wow you came loaded, no discussion possible, this is the first one were gonna have. Parts are on order for you vehicle, and we'll arrange a loaner."
