No, it's just the solid rack. I seriously considered the slide down rack, but decided against it. One of the reasons for the rack was to be able to use it to lift the cap into place. It's actually mounted upside down so that it has a lower profile.
I plan on the gettin the slide down-That price is $1395 as I remember-How does that compare to the solid rack?

The solid rack is $795. I ordered from Offroad Alliance. I didn't have to pay sales tax or shipping. I did pay the $12 for the shipping insurance, UPS is pretty rough with heavy packages.

The RSI drop rack is pretty awesome! Makes accessing your gear really easy. And as previously mentioned, price point is $1395.

Has anyone experienced a wobble or shimmy from the rear end of your Gladiator after installing the rsi smartcap? Anything above 45mph the rear end shakes quite a bit. No issues before the cap.

Seems alot worse than a simple out of balance wheel, but the added weight may just be multiplying an underlying issue. Im also thinking I may need an adjustable rear track bar although not needed for the lift, I may with the addition weight in the rear.

Current setup for reference:
37x12.5x17 Cooper STT Pros
Mopar 2 in lift
Steersmarts adjustable track bar
Teraflex 1in leveling spacer front only
Fox ATS steering stabilizer

Decked Drawer System

Talked to these guys at SEMA. The smartcap with and without windows will be available January for the gladiator. The bed conversion around spring. Spendy, but absolutely flawless. 3800ish for the window version, 1600ish for the commercial version. Bed replacement around 5900 and then if you want the full shell over that another 5900.

FYI Added a KC Chase light bar to my rear glass. Has the flashing ambers and then works on all my rear lights. I added video to see it live.

So just this morning my EVO Sport cap ordered from northridge4x4.com changed from order processing to shipped. Excited but not sure if this means shipped from Africa or that it arrived at US distributor and now in transit to my address. Anybody else get a shipping update?

Since this product isn’t in stock it basically means the mfg accepted the order and your in line. Once it ships out we will send you a tracking number.

we are working on updating the verbiage to make it more clear. It used to say processing but we would get calls all the time asking why we haven’t processed the order yet even though we did we were just waiting for the mfg to ship the item.

Made a little change purely cosmetic, still love my RSI cap and would buy one again. Just didn’t like the sticker on back and , didn’t mind that RSI sticker but the whole door frame is vinyl, this is a long term truck for me even if the little V-8 comes out, ok maybe then, figured better to have an all stainless cap that grows old with me!
Before and after shots.

Looks good, I did the same with mine. Luckily they changed the logo to only letter cutouts on the second batch across the ocean.

My thoughts exactly, buy stuff built to last and later on convince the wife I need a v8 and all the parts will swap over...... hopefully lol

The long saga is mostly complete :)

Received my cap in November and through a series of unfortunate events instillation was delayed until a couple days ago.

I think it turned out pretty decent!

Front Runner load bars and RTT are going on over the weekend. Next week we leave for a 10 day trip! fingers crossed it all goes smooth from here on out.

I was initially told I might receive a discount code by the North American rep (who no longer works with them). But nothing since then. I'm just happy to be rolling finally.

I do have two spare lift gates though... lol. Maybe that's my bonus? :CWL: 1 that is bent and 1 that was sent painted the wrong color.

My topper arrived yesterday at 2 pm. I built it and had it installed by 6:30 with breaks.
I was excited to see the included blocks thinking that they had solved the tail gate problem.
Nope! These must be the same smaller blocks. Those of you that have dealt with this what was the fix? Did you add shims to all the blocks and if so how much? OR did just add shims to the rear block.
Another concern....on page 16 of the directions, it says to torque the rail clamps to 108 inch/pounds that seems like an awful lot! almost to the point of the clamp bolts bending and the plastic bed rails deforming.

I think all of our plastic bedrails are deforming. Seems to be a product of the force being only on the small square pad. I would love to have 4 clamps on each side with slightly lower torque. Still 12.2NM isn't all that high.

I might put full length rubber pads on mine to help distribute the load some.

For the rear blocks, I added several thin rubber strips cut out from a tool box drawer liner to add the needed extra height.

Good luck!
