Honestly I don't think the JT is going to look as good as the AEV converted JK. I don't mean the cab part, but from the rear doors back. So far, all the covered/camoed prototypes have awkward length + height beds (although I do like function over form, so I appreciate a long, usable bed.)

Idk whats going on in the rear fender area on the production JT either, where the bed and the cab meet, but so far it doesn't seem good. I can't wait to see a final product already. My next Jeep will have to at least be a 4 door (sadly) but if the JT turns out to be something I like, going with a pickup truck version is a no brainer.

Agreed, all of the spy pics I’ve seen so far makes it appear that the bed/rear fender area is going to look significantly different than the AEV Brute. This is really unfortunate, especially since the Brute has an awesome design that looks as good as it functions.

I am waiting to see how the bed design and overal appearance look before deciding.

That said: FCA - please make the bed a mirrored image of the double cab AEV Brute. You will sell more vehicles this way, as opposed to it looking like a Honda Pilot or Chevy Avalanche bed. No Jeep owner wants that hideous look.

From the previously posted spy pics, the prototype bed looks like it may be different; although, I certainly hope it does not.

I don't think it's changed. That CAD model looked pretty mature. And late game changes are VERY expensive. Tooling to build sheet metal (or composite) has got to be in the bag by now. Surprised they don't have the final rear bumper on these yet.

I mean, this image was posted by the folks who run this site, that we more or less know are FCA affiliated in some manner. So you can be assured that this is gonna be pretty darn close to the end product. The body line matches up nicely with the cab, the only interesting thing is the cab/flare crossover, which matches up pretty well to the leaked CAD.

Homerun you are correct. JKS posted the photo on the day they took it so February 26th or 27th 2018. I'll be sure to share what I find!

I'm currently dreaming about a custom flat tray that has hidden storage (between tray and chassis / fuel tank) for the two roof panels from the hard top so I have somewhere to store them when I take them off. Alternately, I could settle for a custom tray with racks that are designed to take the roof pieces when they are off and have them above the tray (as a pseudo roof). Sorry, no pics of what I'm thinking, it's all in my head!
