While I do sympathize and agree it could be smoother, it could also be like other manufacturers that you are stuck with whatever configuration the dealer gets allocated instead of building your own. Or like Toyota where you’re stuck with whatever Toyota sends and the “regional” Toyota importer installs at the harbor.
The alternative if we don’t want to wait and get lackluster communication is to buy off the lot, which is the only option a lot of manufacturers offer.
I do agree that the option for a custom build is GREAT! But when you see people with very similar builds (Color, Package, Engine) who ordered a month, or even months after you, already driving around in their new Trucks it indicates that there is an issue. Happy to wait the allotted 8-12 weeks, or longer as long as I am still in line, not just bypassed...

I really Hope that giddy, excited feeling back when it finally gets to the dealership, because so far the experience has been less than good.

Signed and Ordered 4/1. Anyone else around that timeframe too and might be build neighbors? 6 speed Overland, red color matched roof, loaded everything but cloth seats.
I ordered a red Sport S with Max Tow on 4/1 also. Can’t wait!

I'm a bit behind you...April 8. White Mojave, not loaded, but everything I wanted. Gonna be an excruciatingly long wait!

I am in Louisiana, but ordered through Daniel at Gupton Motors in Tennessee.
I almost did the same, but Bergeron in Metairie matched Gupton quote for me. Supposedly... my Glad is due into Baton Rouge today, and if so... I'll pick it up at Bergeron on Saturday! fingers-crossed

Nice! I'm up around Ruston. I couldn't get anyone up here to do less than 1% off invoice. Mine was delivered last week, but won't be able to pick it up until next Friday. The wife and I are going to make a weekend trip out of it.

Ordered March 16th, Rubicon EcoDiesel, dual top, loaded. Current status: “All materials ready,” but it hasn’t started being built yet. I was told by my dealer it would be 4 to 9 weeks.

Also, they were unable to add the factory bed liner in their system, so I’m getting it done locally which is probably just as well.

I’m curious how the diesel affects wait times. I haven’t seen many folks on here in 2021 ordering one unless I missed them.

This is my 4th Jeep, but I haven’t
owned one since my 2013 10th Anniversary Rubi with a bad Pentastar (sand casting). I’m looking forward to owning a Jeep again.

I ordered a Rubicon diesel on 3/15 from Daniel at Gupton Motors in TN, and it was delivered last week. I pick it up on the 23rd.

Ordered mine 4/2 (w/Gumpton) was surprised to find it built and awaiting shipping by 4/12. I haven’t checked back in, but was told it could show up as soon as next week.

That’s great! Congratulations! I wonder what’s up with mine. I got every option except for the headliner, bed liner and accessories. I did order mine in Firecracker Red with Saddle Brown leather. I wonder if either of those color selections affected things. It might also be a function of dealer allocations or just luck.
