Brand new JT owner. Purchased a 2021 JT 80th over the weekend. Unsure what the future has in store for the Jeep, but for now it will remain stock.

Congratulations on the new ride and welcome to the family.

Stock Rubicon height a year in, which is already taller than other models. I'm 90% sure it will never be lifted, might get slightly bigger tires when the time comes. But likely not as much as 35s.

In my experience, all claims of "it doesn't affect handling" on Wranglers has been bullshit. People either just can't tell that it got worse, or want to believe it didn't. I've yet to drive a lifted Jeep that is as nice to drive as stock. I do much more road time and towing than off-road time. So I'll just be more limited in my off-road ability. My 2015 Wrangler was lifted with 35s, and had a couple issues that were a huge pain to track down. No thanks.

No lift here... and prolly never will.

I had ONE Rubicon fender installed from the factory, so I bought a full set and swapped in the other three. With those high rise fenders, I can run 35s and couldn't be happier (except I maybe should have gone with a C or D load tire... but that's another discussion).

I had a lifted JKU (2.5") and was very happy with that. Did front lower control arms and a track bar to get everything back in spec. Drove great - no complaints. But, I won't be taking the JT on the same trails I did with the JKU and I can already out wheel all my coworkers in our parking lot... so I don't see any reason to lift it. :giggle:

Stock Rubi here, really no plans to lift it further. Maaaaybe if I could be convinced it would improve ride quality but honestly I like the current look and the ride has improved drastically with a Decked system in back.

The factory put 1 Rubicon fender with 3 sport S? Good lord. Why do people keep saying buy American again?

Haha... right. 3 Max Tow fenders and 1 Rubicon. I cut them some slack because the Max Tow/Rubicon axles are basically the same... but still.

Nice thing is I wanted to do Rubicon fenders anyway... so this way dealer threw in other stuff for free to offset the cost of the fender. It all worked out. ?

RockTrix wheels and tires from simple tire.com and I got 285/70-17 (33) with no lift on 2020 Sport…. Under a 1000 spent, much better look

I went on a Jeep Jamboree, which was advertised as suitable for non-lifted Jeeps.

I'm going to get a lift before the next Jamboree.

A joke was made in another thread about Gladiator owners who don't put a lift kit on, being considered Philistines by the 'lifted' crowd and I thought maybe we could have our own thread here. I bought my Sport-S about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Not that I don't want larger tires, I surely do, but a lift kit isn't in my foreseeable future. It's just too much money for the lift, then for new wheels to accommodate bigger tires. When I wear my tires out in a couple of years, I'll be buying the 285/70R17's which will get me to about a 33'' tire, but until then, I'm perfectly happy running stock.

That doesn't mean I don't partake in other mods, I've converted the entire front set of lights to LED's and I'll be looking at doing other things as well.

Is the conversion for my Philistine front lights (from standard bulbs to all LED) a plug-and-play process or does the system have to be modified in some other ways?
