I don’t remember if they are Redline or not but I have a set on my 2011 JKSU that I am glad that I purchased. I don’t have use of my right arm so I slide the hood latch, hood raises, stays up out of the way until I need to close it.
Seems to move slower when it’s cold out, but so do I. One of the more “usable” mods that can be appreciated.

I am by no means at all mechanically inclined. I will go under the hood to add windshield fluid. But I installed these with no issues. Instructions were solid and in colour and had actual words (and pictures)!! I'm not sure how fluid the gas will be in the winter, but Redline is in Michigan, so you'd think they'd build it right. I'm happy with them.

I have on wife’s JL and my Mojave, the Mojave steel hood is very heavy and needs a special one called “Export / Mojave” I am not sure if mine was the first Mojave to get one but I had discussions about the hood and they did not realize at that time the hood was steel, and sent higher rated struts which work good but hood is slower to rise. They contacted me to see if they worked and offered to send a higher rated one if needed , but I am very happy with them. .....Jack

I put a set on mine. They are great. I went with the stainless steel model that is about $30 more. I also added a set of KC lights.

Radio guy, they don’t come from the factory cause it would raise the price of the Gladiator, the trucks are expensive enough, sort of why all the safety items are ala carte for thousands, and why they charge $245 for any color other then white in 2021, when in 2020 there were only a few extra cost paints!

Using them on my Overland. They work great and, like most everyone else here, I think they should be standard from the factory!
