can you good people recommend a dealer to purchase a jeep extended warranty from?

The dealer where I purchased my JT wanted to sell me a third-party warranty.
i’m not a big fan of third-party warranties and I’m looking for manufacturer paper.

thanks!

Dude, my dealer tried to sell me one that equated to $6K. When I did the math and called him out o it, he said "that's what some people want".

This may help:

Thanks, much appreciated. The dealer started at 3880.00. I offered 1800.00 for 84/100. But when I learned it wasn’t a jeep warranty I declined it.

My dealer wasn't a Jeep warranty either. I asked why and he said "it saves the customer money". I'm thinking that's not the real reason.

My dealer kept pushing extended warranty and I kept declining and this went on for the duration of filling out the new car paperwork. They got down to $500 for a 2 year extension that takes it to 60mo or 60k mi and said they have coupons to use from the warranty company and it doesn't cost them anything. Then I offered $300 for the 2 year extension and they went for it. The warranty is third party but a premier level that basically covers everything that the factory warranty covers.

Even if I don't use it I think $150 per year is pocket change.

Yeah I just looked at mine. WTF they never even said it was not a Jeep. Am I just supposed to know that? Guess it's on me for not asking the question. I did just text the sales guy. Kinda pissed now.
A. I hope I don't have to use it.
B. If I do I hope it's as simple as the say it is.
C. Still ?

I bought it directly through MOPAR. Dealers suck. I negotiated with the MOPAR sales agent. They offered no interest financing and several hundred off full price. I paid about $3k for the factory maxium coverage...if i remember correctly, it takes the coverage out to 8yr/100000mile.

I am prorated if I dont use it.....meaning If I get rid of the jeep tomorrow i get my 3k back.

If I buy a new jeep tomorrow or there is time left over on the warranty when I make a new jeep purchase, I can transfer it to the new jeep if I want.

Covers all MOPAR stuff like factory.

Lifts 2" and under do not affect warranty coverage. They wont cover the lift components if not MOPAR but they wont complain about it affecting other stuff and deny a claim simply because its installed.

Dealer tried to tell me they lacked the capability to sell me the MOPAR warranty when I bought my JTR and that I had to purchase their Zurich warranty. When I said that was a deal-breaker, they miraculously were able to sell me the MOPAR warranty at a decent rate.

This is my shocked face, a dealer tried to pull a fast one …

Looked i to warranties for my wifes 2017 jkur and my 2021 gladiator. My local dealer does not sell the mopar warranty. They sell a third party. The reason is they make little to no money on the factory mopar warranty so they sell a third party warranty at a better profit.
i wanted the mopar backed warranty for both vehicles. So I purchases that after the sale. Both vehicles are currently stock.
Recently had to put the wifes jeep in for the common radiator leak as well as the failed oil cooler. Cost me 100 bucks for deductible.
i had the dealer put new plugs im while they were in ther since everything was already torn apart. Grand total was about 300-350$. In my estimation that two items paid for the extended warranty on that vanity sit alone.
the service department at my local jeep dealer has been stellar thus far. Even though i did not buy either vehicle from them.

I would definately get the mopar backed warranty over any others.
