Well it took 2 days, not one. Not bad for one guy by himself. Installed my new Clayton 3.5 lift.
Great job! I will never attempt that without help. Not enough room to get it all done. I can build a house, but hate working on vehicles—I’ll change oil, etc, but this is something I’d be worried about not doing correctly or messing something upon. I can just see myself with one of four done and getting stuck. ?? Great looking Gladiator you have there. ??

I’ve installed at least 12 lifts, the last 5 by myself. I do miss my shop from my last house, but other than that, there’s nothing to it but to do it. I feel like I’ve been hit by a train because my impact drill decided to die so everything was loosened and tightened by hand. I could barely close my hands last night.... but it sure was worth it!

No change. But I live 3 miles from NYC, as the crow flies, and all the NYC radio stations come in crystal clear.
I might try it. I like the looks. It would be perfect if there's no loss on AM (KNX1070) reception here. I use that station for news and traffic. For music I use Pandora or Spotify. My XM should be dead in about a month.

Yeah, I definitely like the look over OEM. For music, I mainly stream via my phone as well. Rarely use the free Sirius we got (we had it free for 3 months or so in 2017 when we got the Sahara and never used it then, either). I also don't listen to AM, so I can't say how the reception is for that band. Good luck!

I don't now who came up with this idea of vent mounted mirrors, but y'all are BRILLIANT!
Not only do they keep you legal when you're running naked, they are actually quite effective. And I do recommend these, they're well made, low profile, and use a superior adhesive. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VCPEEX6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Stupid question - so these are kind of permanent right? Would have to yank off and remove adhesive when doors go on?

It did not play nice with my mud flap brackets.
I didn’t expect it to change much, but I don’t think the the sound changed… at all.

The vents spin a full 360 degrees. If you don't need the mirrors, You can just flip the vent 180 degrees and the mirrors disappear to the dark side. And there are no stupid questions.?

Found my soldering iron so replaced the crimps for the Oracle headlights with solder. Been bugging me in the back of my mind to get that done.
