.
yes. One was a tan with blue stripe and the passenger side was tan with red I believe

That makes sense--I have 4 wires on the driver side, on 3 on the passenger side. Frustrating, since they ran the 4th wire on the passenger's side all the way to the front of the vehicle... but didn't want to put in the extra 16".

Hey FutureOdin,
I have a gladiator rubicon ecodiesel with the halogen headlights. I’ve been looking for a nice pair of headlights and tail lights and I am just not happy enough with the aftermarket replacements out there. So oem led will be the choice .

my gladiator is a 2021. Ive read this thread 4 times and I’m still confused about the harness that you got From the eBay guy. So my jeep should come with a 4 pin connector. But doesn’t the oem led headlight should come with a 4 pin connector as well? Now for the driver side that is supposed to have only 3 pins. Did you run-a cable from the passenger side to the drivers side to run the DRL? :headbang:
Thank you

Jeep Gladiator Mopar LED upgrade on a 2021? F57B7D69-56B0-4EB9-8EED-0EA891F1D074

The headlight plug on the drivers side had 4 pins already going to it. For the passenger side, there were only 3 at the headlight, but that went up to this plug located near the front, circled in blue. The left side of the harness had 4 wires, and the harness that I replaced only had 3. This was about a foot long harness that I replaced with the one from eBay, so that it had 4 wires and I didn’t have to run any extra wires.

Now I understand. I’ll check my gladiator later on today after work. I’ve always love to keep my builds looking stock look. Plus I wasn’t happy with any aftermarket option available as of right now. I got a good deal in a pair of led tail lights yesterday. I’ll buy the turn signals this coming week as well as the headlights.

where did you get your headlights at and how much was it? There is a seller selling them for 822 plus tax on eBay.
BTW thank you for the info. It is definitely appreciated.

Hey futureOdin. I got the wire form the guy you got it from. He is selling it for 40 now haha but it looks good. I installed the wire today but had my jeep flashed at the dealer about a week ago and it doesn’t work ☹. Hopefully they didn’t put the correct flash for the headlights hence that’s the reason why inst working properly at the moment. But I just wanted to thank you for the hook up ?

plus for some reason it tells me that my fender lights are out which is weird since they already flashed it to led

The halos don’t work? I had to use JScan to enable them—maybe that’s why?

I was getting an error about my direction lights being out—just had to leave them on for awhile and it went away.

To you lucky ones that have had success with a 2021 LED headlight conversion without the extra wire and with just a tazer setting adjustment, do I understand it correctly that it will work if the JT has the four wire connector on each side that connects directly to the headlight assembly?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on some LED headlights and wanna make sure it'll work before doing so.

2021 JTR with the factory LED tails if that has any impact.

Many thanks in advance.

I was going to go with the Oculus lights, but I'm not really a fan of the style... the single bulb in the middle makes it look like creepy eyes... heh

I went with Bunker ones from Amazon--decent reviews, and the cheapest 9" I found. Hoping they aren't crap.

But to continue the discussion... I took a quick picture of the plug that goes to my passenger's side headlight:

This plug was at the very top of the headlight. As you can see, top picture has 4 wires going in, and the bottom picture has 3 wires going out. So I assume that extra wire that's going in is for DRLs and is not used (since I have halogens).

I assume buying the Mopar LEDs changes the plug from the headlight to include the extra wire?
Can you post a link to the headlights you bought from Amazon?

The halos didn’t work because the dealership didn’t put one out of the 3 tunes.
So they were missing the LPX tune. They’re did put another 2 tunesthaf I don’t know what they do lol.
Everything was working as soon as I put them on except for the halo.

It is impossible to make the LED OEM led headlights work without the 4th wire. one of the post that I saw said that the 2021 gladiators come with the 4th wire already. Mine did come with the 4th wire. I have a JTDR. There is a small cable in the passenger side that didn’t have the 4th wire but it was easy to swap out, it literally took me 2 minutes to get it done. However, the hassle of making everything work was worth it. I love my jeep ?

I just upgraded to the MOPAR LED headlights. I have 2021 Mojave and on the plug to the back of the lights has 4 wires. I am still not able to get my halos to come on with the ECRI option for activating halos.
