It might stipulate a certain amount of days but they always authorize more if your vehicle isn't repaired within that time frame. I'm speaking from experience from another extended warranty I purchased on another Jeep.
This is outside of the extended warranty, jeep cares only.

Thanks all, I probably could use a little diffusing right now because my planned week holidaytrip has been pretty disappointing - unable to go trailriding or even to the store without an uber, unable to get Jeep Cares to "care", lol. I'm not really that upset anymore, life's a bitch and all that. But it still isn't really acceptable.

The dealer here has been great thus far and I haven't held them responsible in any way. Want to keep them happy (I need them more than they need me at this point).
You can get beer delivered now days ?

This is outside of the extended warranty, jeep cares only.
With the one of the other warranties i purchased it had free loaners, road side assistance and 6 additional oil changes. My dealer specifically said the loaner would be for as long as it was in the shop

There is never a good time to break down and getting warranty resolution is never a fast enough process.

Learned long ago that nobody cares about ones problems and life is full of people that fail you with their ineptness or have any care of making you whole in such situations even if it their job.

Jeep or their corporate overlords do not have a monopoly on letting their customers down. They will not care if you leave because you will be replaced by someone else coming from another brand that had the same treatment.

My motor failed 2 weeks ago and left me on the side of the road. I did have to call my own tow truck, but everything else was handled. It sucks because I had a Moab, Sedona trip planned and it screwed everything up! I had to book plane flights, rent a jeep out of Vegas because the dealership wouldn’t let me take my loaner out of state. I had to rent a vehicle in Moab to do some trails. It’s been a pain in the ass to say the least!

jeep has been good about calling me and sending me emails with updates about my motor status. I can only complain about not having my jeep so far, as well as the extra out of pocket for planes and vehicle rentals. Hopefully they get me a motor sooner than later so I can enjoy my jeep this summer.

Sedona is a busy this year if you’re thinking about going. All of the trails are closed because of the fires. There’s always next time!

FYI - Jeep doesn’t manufacture either the auto or manual transmissions! If you’re going to frantically rant online, at least be upset with the right manufacturer(s)! I get your frustrated and your situation is less than favorable; however, this happens with all manufacturers, not just Jeep! I hope they get you taken care of in short order, best of luck!

2 Fords and 3 crappy transmissions which they could care less about. Its something that you might have to deal with from any car company. I gave Ford the benefit of the doubt after the Ranger and they made it fright but after 2 trans in that Focus was the last straw for me with Ford. So far no issues with my jeep

Glad to know my experience with Jeep Cares is not alone, I spent 4 months waiting on a replacement radio that the dealer said was on back order due to all of the problems they were having and upon contacting Jeep Cares not only difficult to talk to anyone without having them call back and playing phone tag because they evidently are always on the phone with someone else and only the case worker in charge of your case can do anything about it. Then once the radio was replaced the SiriusXM Travel Link doesn’t work. So I feel your pain with Jeep Cares.

FCA isn't FCA any longer.

It is now Stellantis. Things are probably still a mess from turnover.
I'm working at a Stellantis plant now, they're converting a transmission assembly plant into an engine assembly plant. The company people on site are pretty clueless as the specs are FCA specs and the Sellantis people have no clue what is and isn't right.

That type of thing usually is a top down problem.

So work with your dealer and don't sweat the Corporate BS because you'll give yourself headaches.
WHo the hell is Stellantis? I thought AMC owned Jeep?? Did something change?

LOL - that ended in 88 when Lee Iacocca raped and pillaged AMC because he had his eyes on the upcoming Grand Cherokee, and after promising AMC employees they'd have jobs, canned most of them and told staff to trash and crush parts.
