Don't plan to lift it at all. I will re-gear at some point because the stock 4.10 suck for the bigger tires, but otherwise this is all I have planned.

Sort of. So much depends on the terrain and how you drive, do you tow, etc? That combo isn't quite ideal but would be very good. In AZ, it could be a little challenge with mountain driving. In FL, you'd be fine since the tallest peak is what, 15 feet?I thought the 4.10 could handle up to 35's.
It's not unbearable but I would prefer 4.88 so I can hold 8th gear on a reasonable grade. I didn't even love the 4.10 gearing with the stock tires. My new 315/70 BFG measure out like 34" and makes 8th gear elusive.I thought the 4.10 could handle up to 35's.

Did you calibrate for your new tire size? It's not unbearable but I would prefer 4.88 so I can hold 8th gear on a reasonable grade. I didn't even love the 4.10 gearing with the stock tires. My new 315/70 BFG measure out like 34" and makes 8th gear elusive.
This.Did you calibrate for your new tire size?
My speedometer is 2 mph under what the GPS shows I'm doing. And I am on stock tires.This.
It took me multiple attempts at changing the tire size to a number that made the speedo match the gps, but once done it still accelerates fine and I see 8th gear with my 34 inch tires. That’s with the 3.73 gear. Many underestimate the difference having an 8 speed gearbox makes in “picking up the slack” of gearing.
As a point of comparison, my 3.73 gear with the 34 inch tires now calculates out to 3.49.
My wife’s JLU is factory with 3.45.
Hey now, my house is 16 feet above sea level! Also, I don’t think I’ll ever put a lift on. I’ve been very impressed with how well my stock Willys handles the sand, muck and a few feet of swamp water down here.In FL, you'd be fine since the tallest peak is what, 15 feet?

Sometimes a joke becomes a joke when others don't really appreciate it as a joke. Some of us bought our Gladiators "as is" for many reasons, money constraints, no need for luxury purchases, budgeting for improvements, etc. The mere fact that someone wants to classify Gladiator owners as with or without improvements, is senseless.A joke was made in another thread about Gladiator owners who don't put a lift kit on, being considered Philistines by the 'lifted' crowd and I thought maybe we could have our own thread here. I bought my Sport-S about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Not that I don't want larger tires, I surely do, but a lift kit isn't in my foreseeable future. It's just too much money for the lift, then for new wheels to accommodate bigger tires. When I wear my tires out in a couple of years, I'll be buying the 285/70R17's which will get me to about a 33'' tire, but until then, I'm perfectly happy running stock.
That doesn't mean I don't partake in other mods, I've converted the entire front set of lights to LED's and I'll be looking at doing other things as well.
