Not really. It is a basket type design, so upside down anything placed on it would need a tie down to keep it from moving past the edges. There is a nut slot all the way around in the top of the outer edge for attaching accessories, so not much use when upside down. I bought some brackets from Front Runner to attach a light bar to the front of the rack. They attach to the outer slot, so I'll have to turn it over to mount the lights.I have some questions about your upside-down rack. Aside from a lower profile, was there anything that prevents it from functioning?
