I love this ! And I love your sig line as well, that's from the late, great Col. Jeff Cooper and should always be adhered to.

I'm into rim fire. Love lever action and bolt action stuff that's my age or older.

I do have a few defensive tools in larger calibers, but those are utilities.

My addiction has just grown, tho now my excuse is to buy them for my kid! Just got some stuff out of jail couple weeks ago. The Jeep was supposed to distract me from my other addictions and it has just add too and grown. Now, just like pew pew stuff, I'm out of small items/mods and everything is $1k here/ $1k there!!!!
Well to be honest I dont want to work that much, hard to get me pass 3pm these days and I'm not mad about it

I've DEFINITELY used handloading as a reason to buy new guns. I've loaded 357 Magnum since I was in high school and I like full house ballistics for the range. H110 is surprisingly versatile despite being developed for the M1 Carbine cartridge - 300 BLK and 357 Mag are both beneficiaries.

I didn't want to beat up my 686 M so I picked up a GP100K a few years ago, and Ruger knows from strong.

The problem with handloading is also that you lower the cost of picking up a gun in a new caliber - you don't have to "already have ammo for it".

Love the 686. I have a newer one and had to remove the internal lock and fill in the stupid hole they drill into the frame for "safety" reasons on the newer models. I shoot it better than any revolver I've shot though, so it's on the never sell list.

BAD ASS! I love the 6" barrel vibe!

I stole my 686 on a consignment, I put down $300 as soon as the seller left. Had to wait 30 days and then another ten for stupid California laws, but I wasn't going to miss out on a classic. Total was $600 and tax not five years ago, got offered $700 by our Safety boss the day I picked it up. Hah! NEVER SELL is right!

I lost alot of my gun enthusiasm after we went into Iraq a second time and prices skyrocketed. I used to buy surplus steel case 556 for 100 per case and 80 per case for 7.62x39. Prices have never been the same since then and went stupid in 2008 till now. So I keep what I have and don't shoot much.

I don't take my wife to the range with me that often. She rarely shoots, but when she does, she's a natural. She looks like a member of the local PTA, but her aim is like American Sniper.

I love moddling my Jeep but I'm a gun guy, first and foremost. I don't have what many would consider a lot of guns, but I have what the media would call a 'cache' of weapons. I'm a niche guy, I buy guns to fill needs and thus have a variety of guns....I have carry guns, and I just upgraded my Shield to a Shield Plus for the extra capacity, I have two 1911's which I love, I have a 30.06 rifle for distance shooting, and my AR is set up with a distance scope and a red dot mounted at a 45 degree angle so I can use either.

This is my dad's Sig P226. When he died, I paid Sig to clean it up and replace all the springs, and they threw in some tritium night sights for the price I paid. It's essentially a new gun and I put some new grips on it and a really nice 1791 leather holster so I could carry it which I've done many times.

That's a great gun. And a very cool way to remember your dad. I love Sig's.

Just reading through and saw I’d mentioned that I would post a pic of my cramped safe. This is without my shotguns crammed in. Before I got the door holsters, it was even worse. Definitely past time for a new safe.

Love shooting as a sport, rifle and pistol...But my favorate is pistol...Which ones?

The 1911 in 45 of course, what self respecting veterean from the old days would say otherwise ? ? ...My two favorates are a Wilson Combat Carry-Comp 4" and aWison Combat Tactical Elite in 5"...

Besides 1911's I enjoy shooting my favorate plastic, the Walther PPQ, one in 9 and 45.

Did my share of USPAS and Static Steel competition, but these days I just go to the outrdoor range (which is literally world class level, luckely) get my own 25Y or 50Y pit, set up steel targets and have a blast. Drawing and moving around the range is ok as far as rules there.

Damn y'all make me seem normal.

I only have 3 pistols, 5 rifles, and 4 shotguns. Half of them are inherited from family and have sentimental value.

Just picked up a Hellcat RDP for my EDC. This is the first Springfield I've owned, and I really like it so far.

I've owned several AR's over the years, but I finally decided to build my own. Picked up this complete lower from Aero Precision on sale. I'm going back and forth on whether I want to build it as a 5.56 or .300 blackout. I'm taking my time, watching for good sales, etc. Really anxious to see where this thing ends up.

PS Folks,
One of the many utility jobs I have for my '22 MO is transporting steel targets, steel stands, and my guns to the range. (right now I am using my 2003 STS, not an optimal way to do it LOL!).

My steel taket stands are 6' tall when folded up for transport and according to the right-triangle-calculater on line, the hypotinus of a 5' long bed with a 4.7' width is 6.86' so this will work well. I just have to learn how to securly tie them down in the bed, they are fairly heavy.

Also have to learn how to secure the steel targets perse, these can easily "decapitate" a person God Forbid an accident. (In the STS they are standing stright up in btwn the front and back passanger seats which makes them a lot safer)...

Any suggetions are appreciated as far as tieing these steel plates down in the MO Bed!

The rifles I can also put in the bed as the hard-top locks onto the tail-gate and should qualify as a psydo trunk (locked) as required in my state for transport.

And I am hoping my pistols can go right under the rear seat lockable storage box. Hard to tell exactly from videos what will fit.
