Just about any warranty claim is going to be a two visit ordeal. One to verify, approve and order parts and the second for the fix.No I was expecting that when we were told to bring it in that we wouldn’t be told to take it home and then bring it back in. That’s inefficiency on their part and an inconvenience on our part.
The service person was told on the phone that the back window was leaking. If they would’ve said that we would bring the vehicle in for some picture but you wouldn’t be leaving it, we wouldn’t have driven two vehicles.
The window should be a warranty item not an insurance item on their part. I understand they don’t get paid for warranty work and it’s just a way to get around financials. But seriously, the vehicle has <20k miles.
Im not really sure why that was so hard to understand. Maybe I made it that way.
Went through same shit on my wife's Chevy Colorado with a HVAC control back light led flicker. Knew it was going to be a HVAC controller remove and replace and tried to make it a one visit when I made the initial appointment and they would not in any way shape or form order a controller until they verified the complaint.
Seems to be a easy double billing for the dealership.
