I will always have a diesel in the driveway, no matter if it is a 3.0 or a Duramax or Cummins, just never a Ford lol.

IF Ram attaches the 10 speed to the Cummins, this Jeep will be bye bye. I miss that truck but not the trans.
Maybe Ram will use the Ford 10 speed like GM does.

Yeah you nailed it. Is it a diesel specific lift?
What was the turnaround time? I’ll be going up there (hopefully in a month or so) to pick up a gladiator and it might be worth a quick stop if they’re not in Western Pa.
Sorry, I didn’t respond to the question regarding if this it Diesel specific.
No, the Clayton kit is not diesel specific. However, two things:
Since the diesel motor is 300-400 lbs heavier, we used a 3/4” spacer to get the stance correct. Also, if you want to use Falcons shocks, you must get diesel-specific shocks since the regular shocks extend too far into the engine bay and hit the battery and battery tray. Those shocks were completely out-of-stock everywhere. So, I upgraded to the Fox and couldn’t be happier.

I’m running the M/T Baja Boss’ at 33PSI. We did a beach trip weekend before last and averaged 84mph and 19 MPG. With the windows up and AC on, the tires are not loud at all. I’m only running a 1/2” front 3/4” rear level.

I currently have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 35s and I’m jumping to 37s here shortly. Both the Ridge Grapplers and these new M/T Baja Boss A/T are available for me in the 37 size and I’m seriously considering the New Baja Boss. How are you liking them now a few months later? Have you had Ridge Grapplers in the past and able to do a comparison noise wise?

Just picked up my JTRD today. 37’s with stock 3.73 gears. So far, I really don’t notice the difference from stock. I’ll post a reply once I have more miles and fuel economy data, but so far I think it’s unlikely I’ll void my warranty with a regear.

How do you like those tires? Have you had the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the past and are able to give a comparison of the two?

Which Fox shocks?

I have a set of 35” Ridge Graps on my 06 LJ and they are quiet. Virtually no noise. The Baja’s have a good bit of noise, but it does not bother me, and this is my first set of M/T’s I’ve ever had. I have about 3000 miles on them and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

To me, a soft top makes more noise than the tires, but this is comparing a new top on my LJ vs. a hardtop on the Gladiator.

Surprised to hear you say they have noise, I expected them to be on par with the ridge grapplers. Would you choose the MTs over the ridge grapplers in the future?

I’ve only driven about 1k miles on these tires - only summer with rain. As such, I can’t give a well rounded review yet. And no, I’ve never had the Nittos. I can report that they work quite well in the rain and are quiet. Mind you, I have the AT’s, not the MT’s. I’d say they are comparable to the GY Duratrac’s in many ways.

Maybe you’re crossing A/T and the M/T? Baja boss comes in both. The A/T is probably quiet.

Those are the ones I'm looking at with a JKS 3 Inch lift how are they on the highway? Our roads here in Iowa are shitty...

they are really great. Here is a good setting to start with:

On Road: High = 3 / Low = 6
Off Road: High = 6 / Low = 3

You’re right probably so. I made the assumption you were using M/T as Mickey Thompson abbreviation lol. I thought you had the new Baja Boss A/T. Thanks for clarifying!

I have 37” baja boss a/ts. Very quite barely notice them at all. So far great tire, looks beefy buts it’s an a/t
That’s what I’m looking for thanks! Can you show a good side profile and head on pic and if you have a lift share the info on that?
