Max Tow Not Available for 2022 Sport S

Hello all! I tried to place my order earlier today for my 2022 Sport S, and was advised that the "Max Tow" package for the Sport S is "greyed out" and is not selectable for my build. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm hoping it's a glitch possibly.

Ruh roh....isn't Sport S like one of the few trims where you can even get Max Tow? I know it isn't available on Overland or Willys.

If it is still on the order guide it would have to be available in some form. Maybe on the base Sport?

OP, what transmission did you select? If manual then I believe Max Tow is not available.

Max tow on a Sport S wasn't an option on the order guide near the end of 21. It did let you order one though.... I ordered one in September

I selected automatic.

Jeep may also not be taking max tow orders right now.

This could be true too, what with Rubicon and Mojave also using the same wide axles and being higher priced, they could be like everyone else and prioritizing the top end trims.

I actually contemplated cancelling my order and waiting for MY22 to come out, after the price changes and what-not, I feel like I hit a 3 at the final buzzard.....

If your choice in options makes this plausible try to see if you can place an order for an Altitude edition with Max Tow.

wow, didn't know that. I got my order in the last few days of August.

I bought mine off a dealer lot but I was considering holding out for the 22 model year. Glad I bought when I did.

Uhhhh this will kill my desire to buy if true. Altitude is a new trim for Sport S maybe required for Max Tow

Start at the end of the buildsheet, select the 4.10 axle. It will add 7 options, one of them being the Max Tow..
