I thought I was going crazy but I found that there is somehow water trapped in my hard top. Anyone else have this issue? If I take a turn fast you can hear the water in the roof swishing back and forth in the rear

Dealer, before it gets cold. Freezing would not be a good thing. Hardest part will be finding where it's getting in. Draining it will be easy.

My 20 Overland made the same sound. I could never pinpoint it and always thought that water was trapped in the hard top. Haven’t had this experience in my 21 Rubicon…

Not 100% on it but sounds like you should be getting a replacement hardtop.

Many have had the same issue (I did) and it was related to a rear window seal. Some will get water behind the back seat, some will hear sloshing, and some get both. Your dealer will need to replace the entire rear window or replace the top - and ALL dealers are aware of this issue. There should be a long thread on this well known issue on this board. Search for water leak hardtop'.

Is there an official TSB Jeep has put out for this?

No TSB has been created (that I know of), but it is a well known issue for the first run JT hard tops. My dealership was dealing with multiple instances when I was in with mine. There was even a waiting list for the replacement glass to come in because of demand. The issue was explained to me as a pinched/split seal during production which required full window replacement to resolve - as the seal was fused to the window frame and there was a high likelihood of the original window being broken during removal. At one time, there was a thread here with people posting pictures and even talking about windows being broken during replacement and some dealers chipping their tops. If I find the link I'll post it here.

I just left the dealer for this problem, I also have cracks around the trim of the window. The issue I'm having is my dealership giving me a hard time same way they acted when I got the steering tsb done.

Hmmmm...perfect timing for this thread...I heard it the other day when I was out. Thought it was just the gas tank sloshing but now, I'll be listening for it MUCH more closely. Actually going to the stealership today to get pay off for my lease. I'll mention this to them whilst I'm there.

Thanks guys. You were right it’s coming in from the back window. I’m going to pull the top off and try and get the water out and seal it myself. I’ve had to many issues with dealerships near me

Crazy that would slip through QC. It may never leak, but may be better to get it replaced now under warranty.

So, I was at my dealership today and they've never heard of this so, I showed them...rocked the truck and they heard the sloshing.

It, for me, is a moot point as I just ordered a 2021 Overland in Snazzberry with the cold weather package, preferred equipment group (upgrades speakers, 8.4" w/ Nav, Leather, etc.) remote locks, trailer package, bed liner, tonneau cover and the Selec-trac transfer case (2H 4FT 4PT N 2L) anti-spin rear (basically my 2020 except for the leather and better x-fer case and color...mine is the Firecracker Red).
