Maybe it's in my head, but the RPM tie rod really stiffened up the steering. Almost to the point where the medium setting on my stabilizer feels like firm on the highway.

Good to hear, I finally put my order in using their black friday door buster sale and now am waiting for it to come in. Any tips/tricks for install?

My tie rod just dropped out. 20k miles.

Don't unbolt it the whole way at first. Leave it by a thread so you can control it on way out.

Use a jack stand or jack or something to support the new tie rod when installing if solo.

Measuring bolt to bolt you must go from bottom. The factory stud is tapered and RPM is not so measurements won't translate. Also need to be sure the studs are exactly centered or measuring is way off.

You could, with properly centered studs, do something like chalk the ends of the studs and put it onto a big piece or cardboard or baseboard or wall board and check measure that way. How factory marks leave to the RPM.

Screw the ends all the way in at first to get anti seize the whole length down the tie rod. Then unwind each end one rotation at a time to keep the ends the same amount of thread until desired length.

Make sure the ends are not angled.

Dont forget to anti seize the hell out of the threads on the ends.

Factory torque is like 48 or something but RPM says 75.
