If you have had the leaking axle seal issue which corner? Mine was Right Rear. What was yours? Please post a picture if you have it! Pictured below are two shorts of my right rear inner wheel and then my very clean left rear.

There may be some that don't know this but right or left side is determined as if you are sitting in the drivers seat.

You are right. Assuming you are sitting in the driver's seat facing forward. I will edit the poll question. Thx

Sorry - I should have looked before.
No worries, yours asks a different question, but the thread about the leaking axles pretty much established that the passenger rear is by far the worst for 2021 glads.

Ah - that was the feeling I got but didn't have time to read 60 pages of the thread...

I've followed this issue since the first post. It's always the right rear. IF there's an exception I'd love to see it.

There won't be any suit for this sort of thing taken by any attorney who has actually passed the bar because it's not being ignored, and Jeep is trying to take care of it. It's also not a safety issue with how minor MOST of these are (most don't even hit the floor with lube)

Jeep warrants it, fixes it, and is still investigating it. It takes time for a solution. The only time lawyers are needed are for cases where a company does nothing and isn't actively trying to resolve the issue and/or won't cover it under warranty.
In this case, it's being taken care of (well, most of the time) and Jeep IS doing something about it.
A leak like this also isn't a severe issue compared to real safety issues.
This is an issue that's going to ultimately fall onto their SUPPLIER of these differentials.

Anyway, it's pretty well known, is restricted to specific build dates and Jeep is trying to take care of it.
Good luck with class action.
How about REAL problems like 1 million (1,000,000) Mercedes vehicles with sun roofs that FLY OFF onto the highway while the vehicle is being driven?
So far this isn't a safety issue, is limited in scope, and numbers - the internet and this forum make it look a lot worse in numbers (really bad for the customers who suffer this issue, but still a tiny tiny percentage of all JT owners)

Do the repairs seem to stay fixed? Or do they start leaking again in 6 months?

From what I've seen - MOST seem to be fixed. Some - a few, handful at most, have leaked again. One or two got complete differentials - whole axle assemblies, not the shaft assembly.
But most I've seen have been fixed (even if the dealer didn't properly clean things in the process)

And this is why I am a lowly liquor attorney... not a fancy class action dude.
