I agree I don’t understand half the crap he talks about. If I followed his advice I would be broke, renting an apartment, and still trying to pay off my debit. Instead I’m debit free and have a sweet house.

Hey Austin, congrats on the order. I'm also Colorado-based and planning the Gupton - CO road trip. Ordered @ Gupton on Jan.3... Sting-Gray JTRD. Hoping for an early March delivery. Looking forward to the Diesel on the Rocky Mountain way! Have you received the VIN and seen any progress on your build?

ohh nice! congrats! I got the vin a couple of days after ordering. they said the tracking sites arent always that accurate, but the site doesnt have an update.. they said expected ship date is around feb 1 or 3rd.

I’m thinking about placing an order for a diesel Rubicon and selling my Current Gladiator. Only thing I worry about is interest rates increasing by the time I get it and decrease in trade in value. They said at least two months could be 4.

What did you do with the old tires and/or wheels? Did they buy them or did you bring them home with you?

One of the technicians in the service department was interested in the original tires, and we worked out a deal. I know that other forum members brought their original tires home, or sold them on the way.

Yes; I picked up my Gladiator this past Thursday and they did honor the Tread Lightly additional 1 percent off. I had forgotten to print the number (and had only written it down) but they were kind enough to let me login there and print a new one. The whole process was smooth. No BS.

It looks like Gupton is the place to order, anyone from CA order a diesel from there, are they coming 50 state legal or is that an option I need to ask for? Seems a 2000 mile road trip is in order…. What’s the pricing before TTL your getting for a Rubi Diesel, I’m not following on the % discounts below invoice, is that the same as MSRP?

Hey Arun, welcome. You need to use the actual order guide in order to determine what the invoice price is on the JT you build. Invoice is I'd guess about 5% under MSRP on average.

They're all 50-state legal. You may only run in to an issue on the CA-specific warranty on the emissions system (as I recall, that system has a better warranty in California only. Same equipment, but state requires a better warranty).

Finally, this may be an easier option for you than Gupton. Less of a discount, but pretty convenient and people seem to like this place:
