I got a note from the dealer on Friday that the truck in on the transport to the dealer. Not putting too much faith since I was told the same time before. However, I didn’t get an email from Jeep with any shipping updates.
I was hoping mine would be on the same truck

Haha. I figure it's because diesel. No safety group, no dual doors, no bed liner. But much of the rest.

We'll see how much of an outlier i become when I finally get a date.
Not sure i trust them, but today they said "parts are gathered". I think i saw that line back in December...

It’s here. Queue the heavenly angelic music while the curtains open:

Picking it up right now. Mike at Mall of GA CDJR has been exceptional. I'll post a short review on that when I can. I traded a 2021 Ranger and their offer was very fair.

I wasn't expecting the hideous air dams on a sport s so those gotta go but I'm pleasantly surprised that the fender lights are the LEDs as I don't recall seeing that anywhere on the build documentation or online. I'm thinking that parts shortages are influencing some decisions there but I'm not upset. I can't believe I'll be driving a modern truck with a manual trans! So happy about that. Anyways, here's the truck!

Congrats it looks great, bonus on the LED fender lights! I didn’t realize that ticking the LED light group box in the Sport S didn’t include them, so that’s lame. It’s amazing how much they withhold options to manipulate consumers into more expensive packages with higher profit margins.

I haven't heard from them in a week now. JC says mine is still in transit though.

It's not the diesel which might have been the better choice but I am happy either way.
I was more curious to see if it was the diesel option causing all of the long builds/delays. If you think about it, the ZF trans comes from Germany and the diesel power plant comes from Italy, so it seems plausible that there could be delays from that.

Yours being the pentastar v6 leads me to believe it was something else causing the delay though. We’ll never know, haha

I got the same email!!! Lets goooooooo! :)
Mine is in shipping now as well. I’m going to assume that the CEO, who hand built my truck after forging and milling all parts by hand (why else would it take so long?), strapped a hitch to his back and is dragging my JT in an enclosed, single car trailer, on all fours, to my dealer here in Oregon. That’ll take about a month or so I imagine…

I’m not holding my breath on having it delivered any time before the middle of February is what I’m trying to say, haha

I thought about this as well for a while (mid December) when I noticed that orders placed after mine were being delivered. To be honest, I could not see a specific pattern. Many of those that were being delivered had the same options as mine.

So, Dealer reached out, the Gladiator Overland ordered 10/23 is expected at the dealership tomorrow morning! However, when I provided the tread lightly affiliate control number, he said the program has been suspended due to lack of product. Has anybody on here successfully used the FCA affiliate program to purchase a 2022 Gladiator?
