Been running them for years...clean and re-oil every year. Never had an issue. First one was in my '96 ZJ. Then subsequent WJs and WKs. Now in my JTO. I do notice a little...emphasis on little...improvement in economy vs. stock paper elements. every little bit helps :)

I have one in the JT. I’ve used them in the last 4-5 vehicles (mostly Toyotas) No performance gains worth mentioning. I just use them for convenience. Clean and oil every other oil change. Never had any problems.

I've used them for years, never an issue on any vehicle, with "dust injection". Don't expect any noticable HP gains though. I just use them because they are reusable. I don't have one on the JT yet though.

Read plenty of negative things about them on the JL and other forums. Keep one as a spare in an emergency because it will take being with the other gear better than a paper filter.

Have been using K&N filters on everything I have had for over 50 years .. Motorcycles ,Dirt and street and all my vehicles and my riding lawn mowers ect . Just dropped in one on my Mojave along with the cabin filters. Have never had any engine related or fueling issues .

I've been using K&N filters for years as well, with no issues. In the Mustang world there was always discussions on how those who over oiled them, or put them in immediately after servicing them, not permitting the to "Dry" a bit would either clog the screen in the MAF, or coat the heated element inside.

Long story short, just got the MOPAR High Po filter, and wondered if was cleanable, required oiling, or had to be replaced when dirty, it IS cleanable. Light air pressure to remove large contaminants, and a water rinse to remove the rest, then air dry.

Next oil change it's going in.

Happy with the concept, happy that's it's cleanable, and adds 72 HP, and 169 PFT!
