not quite following what you mean by " off of a rubicon... max tow also". There is no "max tow" option on a rubicon. The rear springs on the rubicon are significantly softer. If you care about such things it is highly likely thatthe rear will squat down more with a moderate to heavy load (vs the max tow rear springs) if you were to use the Rubi rear springs.
For what it’s worth, I towed and hauled heavy stuff with rubicon springs and never squatted. The rake leveled out with a loaded bed and tongue weight at the same time, but never squatted. The rubicon springs are softer, but not weaker. I have a set if anyone wants them for a good deal.

What spring numbers did you install up front?
I'll have to check tomorrow. I know the guy had steel factory bumpers on his. He said they were the stiffer springs. It's raining right now but I'll have a chance to look and see if I can find a number on them

I'm thinking of adding the Rubicon suspension to my Max tow minus the rear springs, but I have a steel bumper and winch installed. I want to help the ride up front and researching the different coil numbers to figure out which ones I would install.

I ran stock rubicon suspension for quite a while with a warn winch and warn 1/4” steel bumper. No issues, I didn’t notice a single difference. Rode great. Picture is with stock rubicon suspension and tires.

Do you know what spring numbers you were running up front?

I still have them and will take pictures tomorrow. I think the labels are still intact.

What’s wrong with the suspension you have now, how’s the fox shocks gonna make that much of a difference?

I'm interested more in the Rubicon springs to lift the front and provide a softer ride. Hear that it's better to keep the fox stuff together.

I thought a lift would affect ride quality negatively?

Some lifts do and some don’t. Its very much a user based perception. There’s a growing number of forum members that are staying stock, or doing moderate spacer lifts. The rubi front springs are a neat option because they give a little lift without adding any aftermarket suspension components.

Not always the case. It depends on the type of lift, spring ratings, and how much lift you add. A 2 to 3 inch lift done right will not affect ride quality much at all and in some cases can improve ride quality. A Rubicon take off suspension and say a 1.75 to 2.5 inch spacer lift is a good option because you can get over 2 to 3-1/4 inches of lift and not compromise ride quality because you can keep your stock components.

I'd say tires and shocks affect the ride more than a lift will, if the lift is done right.

I REALLY liked my rubicon stock suspension, both on and off road, and hauling/towing. I hear so many people claim it’s too squishy. It was fantastic. I lifted for functional reasons, to gain ground clearance rock crawling, with the help of larger tires. If I could have the feel of the rubicon suspension along with the height, I’d love it. The current lift is great for control and road manners, but could be softer on bumps. My parts are still up for grabs btw. I don’t think anyone coming from a sport would be disappointed.

I don’t get why they complain about that, best riding solid axel truck there is bar none
