I'm a lot more conscious about my beam adjustment since upgrading my halogens to Oracle Oculus projector headlamps.

It's not rocket science to adjust them down just enough to eliminate oncoming drivers flashing you.

Get yourself a long phillips head screw driver & just do it!
It takes longer to dig the screwdriver out of the tool box & open the hood than to make the adjustment.

It will only take maybe 1/2 to 3/4 turn of the adjusting screw at the most to move the cutoff of the beam down just enough so that you aren't blinding everyone approaching you at night.
This will by no means compromise your own range of visibility & usable light that you will notice, but will make a world of difference.

Mine were also high from the factory, but after a very slight adjustment down, have never been flashed since.

Remember, when you flash your high beams at someone that already thinks yours are on only makes a bad situation worse, which I shouldn't have to say is not a good for either of you.

Mine may be slightly high (an inch or so?) I get flashed about once every 2 weeks. One time it was raining fairly hard and it was tough to see. Unknown to me I was coming up on a particularly nasty pothole and some guy flashed me at the wrong split second and I hit that pot hole so hard that its a miracle nothing was bent or broken!

But I aimed them as instructed.

Yup. Just got my '22 JTM last weekend (stock height/tires) and have gotten flashed two out of three days. But there are so many vehicles that I come upon that have absolutely blinding headlights as well. Today's LED lighting that is becoming more and more common each day.

Right, the DOT regulations have not kept up with new technology. The higher intensity beams require much tighter beam patterns and aiming to be safe. It would suck if someone crashed just trying to cope with too bright oncoming headlights.

Thankfully headlights are getting better (slowly). My wife’s 19’ Forester has LED headlights that move with the steering wheel. And my old Mini had self leveling headlights so they wouldn’t blind anyone.

Jeep could definitely make use of either of these options to make night driving better for everyone.

The Tucker had the first moving headlight. At what extra cost would you want to add for these functions? What would be the cost to fix if broken?

sorry for being this lazy, but I am. Is it clockwise or counterclockwise to lower?

and im hoping focusing my haLogan’s down a bit will not only make life better for oncoming drivers, but will also make the 10 candle-power output more useful to me.

I seem to get flashed every time I drive at night like I'm driving with my brights on. I don't feel like I should go adjusting the headlights from where the factory sets them, but I also don't want to go around blinding my fellow drivers.
Most drivers (and especially our older drivers) are used to the standard lighting which cars were once equipped with. Those individuals just aren't bright enough (pun intended) to understand the new technology and why the headlights are brighter. I would ignore anyone that flashes you... your factory LEDs are just fine. I occasionally get flashed in my GC Trailhawk and in the JTO... but in the JTO it's when I run the fog lights. If you drive in suburbia where everyone has a sedan, keep in mind your Jeep sits higher than their 'go-carts'.

Counter. In the time for I took you to type that, you could have asked Google.
Fog lights can also be adjusted.

I had a 2009 Grand Cherokee with auto leveling headlights and they were troublesome. I eventually disabled that feature.

Or just turn the adjuster and observe. If light pattern is going the wrong way, turn it the other way. ?
