Yeah but that thing is hideous! Lol
Good news for you, is that you don't have to buy a Bronco. Good news for us, is that we didn't buy our Bronco to solicit compliments from strangers, and think it looks awesome. We don't give a shit what others think. I'm sure there are plenty of people that have seen your JT, and thought it was hideous as well. Again, Opinions...

I drove a Outerbanks with 2.3 and was not a bad performing vehicle. Hell, I even ordered a Wildtrak Bronco and is being built in a couple of weeks (according to Ford). But after all the Ford issues, waiting, delays, after delivery issues, more waiting and now delivering without some of the modules, I spoke to my dealer and told them they could keep it when it arrives. During that time, much of it I spent contemplating whether or not I made the right choice and started researching the Gladiators and going to dealers for test drives. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar, I ordered a Gladiator Mojave edition (comparable to the WT as far as desert capable) and believe the Gladiator will be better in every aspect including a bed to haul stuff. Plus, I am getting more features and still paying less than what the Bronco was going to cost. By no means are the Broncos slouches, they are not speed demons but still very capable even with the pre-programed GOAT modes.

I feel like we're creeping further off topic but, I think stock for stock the Bronco is a much better looking vehicle. The Gladiator is a bit... awkward in stock config. Which is part of why I ordered one. I like the quirkiness.

The fender flares on the Bronco Raptor are a whole different thing though

They look like they stretched garbage bags over a frame

Yeah, I'm not a fan of those fenders either.

the 2.3 bronco engine even on a loaded 4dr bronco is faster than a JT, so I have no idea where you're getting the idea it's a slug by comparison. The 2.3 is faster than the 3.6 in a wrangler too, which is lighter than the gladiator. With premium fuel it's faster than the 2.0 wrangler as well, but slower on regular gas.

As for looks, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't like Bronco 4dr softtops. But personally, I think most gladiators are ugly. Especially sports on silver wheels with tiny tires and no lift. Gladiators can be beautiful; i see more pretty ones than ugly ones on the forums, but I see more ugly ones than pretty ones on the road.

I had a 2dr manual sasquatch bronco ordered before I even considered a gladiator. Only reason I gave up on my 2dr bronco is Ford kindly told me because I dared to want a bargain I was going to have to wait until 2026 to get mine. Realty is, a bronco just the way I wanted it was under 41k. My ordered mojave is just shy of 53. I love the gladiator, but i'd rather save 12k... except Ford doesn't seem to want my money, so Jeep it is!

They look a hell of a lot better in pictures and videos. My neighbor has one and in person its really small and has a typical small box car look.
...are you sure they don't have the sport? My take away when my coworker got his sasquatch is quite the opposite, in terms of size.

They're wider and taller than the Gladiator in comparable trim, I believe. And the squared off design just makes them look really large in person, I thought. Almost too big, honestly.

I didn't realize they actually offered different sizes between models. Very unusual if they do but that would certainly explain it. I am not sure what model theirs is.

The Bronco Sport is an entirely different model, not just a different package. Based off the Escape platform, I think.

Had an eco-boom.

Towing, well within its limits, in the mountains, on a hot day, Mr. Computer decided to kill the turbo. Lots of fun towing with the CC size of the engine ....... only.

Not pretty, I was afraid I was doing damage to the engine.

Being a died in BLUE OVAL WOOL FORD guy, for better than a score and a decade ...........

I looked closely at the Bronco, and was disappointed.

I bought a Gladiator.

Much happier.
