All Ram Power Wagons have a gear driven LSD in the rear, plus lockers front and rear. I miss the LSD plus locker on my JTRD.
@Rusty PW Pretty sure you are Rusty PW from the Power Wagon Registry forum? I'm MoparManiac on that Forum.

New F-150 Raptor and Optional on F-150 Tremor, rear locker with Torsen LSD front end. As a Canadian on the East Coast, I'd like to weigh in and say that the Auto 4WD system (on the old 2012 - 2017 F-150) got me through 99% of anything and everything I have ever needed. When i need the extra boost, Lock up the rear. I have driven through 2ft of snow (powder and wet & heavy) and hard pack like ice. We get it all. I am going to have to say the one thing that has not been mentioned , is the brain. If you have it in your head that the LSD is the best, then no matter what you drive, the LSD in your mind will ALWAYS be better than anything else. If you believe that 4WD if better with open Diff's then guess what, it will drive better to you.

When it starts becoming personal preference, that's all it is. LSD's have advantages and disadvantages, lockers have advantages and disadvantages.

Read this a LONG time ago, not sure it really applies now, but 4WD just gets you stuck deeper in the forest!

Snow and are completely unpredictable beasts, maybe one day someone somewhere will figure it out, but for right now, whatever YOU believe to be best, you will drive better in the snow and ice.

again this is just my opinion, but seems logical to me.
Lol . Years ago in a CJ5 we got seriously stuck and the cheap winch literally came apart causing it to slide even further down the ravine. It took a willys and I think a power wagon to pull that thing out.
Come to think of it, we got that CJ seriously stuck quite a few times :)

It is interesting the the aftermarket has not come up with a drop replacement that has this combo. One that would allow you to either use the existing switching or if you don't have a locker to start, sell an electronic actuator kit as an add on. We are talking about a ton of vehicles out there between the JL and JT and Jeepers pay stupid money for upgrades on practically every part that comes stock. I am thinking particularly with the 392, the combo would just make too much sense.

And the work around is the Tazer.
Where's the best place to get one, and does the Tazer work through an app to customize settings?

Don't need a Tazer to lock the rear in 4H.

This happened for the first time today with a Tazer. I've tried to do it before w no success. Unless someone else can replicate I think it just stayed stuck when coming out of 4H.
Do I not have Off Road pages on a 2020? I'm curious where it's hiding or if I could add a front trail cam as well...

Zautomotive.com
No app, but you use steering wheel controls to navigate the menus.

Off-road pages only available on the 8.4. Look in the app drawer.
Zautomotive has a front trail camera.

It'd be right there in your apps.
If you're referring to the rear locked in 2H good luck. Neither Jeep or Tazer describes this function.

You could use an Aux switch to trigger it. I don't remember if it was on this forum or the JL forum, but a member got so tired of all the crap you had to do in the proper sequence to lock the axles, that he just wired them both to the aux switches. Now he pushes a button and it locks. Simple. The way it should be.

The Auburn ECTED is LSD/locked. I’ve never used one or been around one, but I haven’t heard much good about it.

There aren’t many options for an LSD/locked diff. For whatever reason.

I have had 3 winters with my LSD Overland.

Typical slick condition driving I can say I am happy with the performance, without taking any additional steps to add traction/weight.

That would be me. ;) If it wasn't for the rust cancer. Think I would still have my PW.

Forgot all about this one. It's a clutch pack operated unit. It's not a geared LSD. From what I read. It's operation can be a funky.

Too bad you don't have it anymore. I still have my 2010 and I have no plans of ever getting rid of it. I only have 73,000 miles on it and I have the lifetime Max Care warranty. The JT is my daily driver, a lot more economical.

I thought about a new Power Wagon, but they are so expensive. I"ve wanted a Jeep pickup for years, so had to go this route.

My PW had the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. Which was nice. Had 105,000 miles on it. Just changed out the rear main seal. don't cost me a thing. I really thought I would be buried in it. I had plans to keep it forever. But.........

I have a set of King 2.5 shocks that will fit your PW. These have all the bells and whistles. $2,500. Only 4,000 miles on them.
