Adjustable front track bar and geometry correction brackets, which are meant to be used with stock length lower control arms....so you don’t need longer or adj LCAs.

I would not go with the Mopar longer LCAs. I have the AEV kit on my sport s with the longer Mopar arms. They are cheap..yes, but IMO not that great, could be a hair longer.. I am going back to the stock lcas and adding geo brackets. The brackets also help address control arm angle, not just length, which helps with overall ride quality. I ran a set on my old Jk and it helped. I should have got them to begin with and skipped the Mopar arms.
Excuse my ignorance but does AEV sell geometry brackets separate or who would you buy them from if you didnt go with the Mopar LCAs?

Yeah, they have their own geo brackets. A bit pricier than some other brands, but quality brackets that are use welded construction...some use a two piece design.

Go with the adjustable control arms. The brackets have limited adjustments and hang down too far. I know that many really like the brackets but adjustable control arms are a much cleaner look and have far more adjustability. I would guess that a lot of people brackets switch eventually. Just do it now.

Hang down a bit...sure. That also helps with correcting control arm angles where lcas alone do not.

Most geo brackets are also adjustable from 2 to 4.5 inches of lift. To comapre, most adj lcas are adjustable to the same 4.5 inches. The only advantage is they can go back to stock length (which is unnecessary) and they they stay tucked up a bit. If you wanted to go taller than 4.5, you could add adj lcas at that point. At 4.5 with just adj lcas, your control arm angles would cause a harsher ride, as the brunt of the force gets pushed into the frame, as oppose to absorbed upwards into the suspension.

IMO, the amount of clearance lost with brackets is negligible and unless you are heavily into rock crawling (which I assume to OP is not, judging by the fact he chose a 2 inch lift) is a small price to pay for better ride quality.

Not really into rock crawling, the reason i wanted to lift is for clearance when i would be off on the trail. Especially thinking if i add a bumper (not sure about a winch) im going to droop. So hoping 35s and a lift would still have me with better clearance than i started with.

Not going to lie the 4 inch kit from ready lift sounds tempting because i would end up when its all said and done i would have better clearance than the 2" spacer lift. Just wondering how it would look with 35s?

I think they’re all adjustable. The stock drag link is adjustable, so no need to worry about them coming loose. The nice thing about adjustability is if you make changes down the road you can readjust. Remember, you don’t really need to add these.

If you check out the Fabtech kit, they have brackets that do the correction and use the stock bars. But more components means more $$$.

A panhard rod is another name for a track bar.

Those work great, had a set on the front on my JL. The rear is not really necessary, the front helps as it allows you to push the axle and help improve steering a bit. Metalcloak occasionally runs a 10% off with free shipping, matching those up with their front adjustable track bar might be a good way to go.

Thanks man it helps to talk to actual people about stuff. Sometimes researching threads is a dead end. For instance, I was reading about regearing for 37s on the mojave... the thread ends with about 60 percent of folks saying they didnt need to regear with about 40 percent of people saying its a must lol.

I know exactly what you mean, sometimes too much information is just as bad as no information.
By the way I think those that say 37 inch tires and no regearing are just wrong. BUT, its their rig, if it works for them, oh well.

Keep it simple. 2” AEV kit with Geo brackets set to the middle setting for better caster. I’ll probably upgrade the stabilizer as soon as they’re more readily available.
