Nah, I’m running a set and spoke to them directly. I specifically asked about rebuild turnaround and despite the unbelievable delay in their ability to ship hardware, they said turnaround on a rebuild was 48 hours once they were in their hands.
Sorry, I meant to obtain a set:). My bad!

I live 5 miles from Fox's El Cajon factory...wonder if I can get faster service. The guys drink at Burning Beard across the street after work.
Man, that’s worth a try!

Think he was just referring to the current availability part. Good that there service department is quick. King is apparently not so quick. Wish falcon made shocks for the power wagon.
I have a set of King shocks for sale for the 3G. These will fit the leaf spring rear with the 5 link front. The rears are the short body long travel option.

Is there anyone out there with a Mojave that has reported noticeable degradation in the factory shock performance? I can't help but think that Fox's recommended service intervals are conservative, especially for vehicles driven mostly on road.
Since they degrade over time, I think the best seat of the pants comparison would be done just after getting them back from being serviced.

Have to make sure but looks like rough country makes a lift kit with struts for the mojave for $400, all other kits say not for mojave, but this one doesnt. could be an option for throw aways while fox services the shocks RC

Everyone seems to take the position that shocks 'degrade'. I agree that under some set of operating conditions they do, but for the way many people use these Mojaves, I don't think that there would be anything noticeable at 50k miles.

I can tell you that I've had a lot of cars and driven a lot of miles, and I've never replaced a shock due to what I would call noticeable degradation due to normal use. Sure, I've had shocks that have failed & leaked due to age & rust & damage, but that's not what we're talking about here. Heck, a few years back I changed the original factory shocks on my 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 because I thought it was time. It made no difference. My 2014 JKR has the original factory shocks at 31k miles, with a LOT of rocky off-road miles, and they feel like day 1.

What are the differences between the Mojave and Rubicons anyway? I know that I've heard some Yota folks have issues with Fox and once I can get a lift I won't be buying any.

I have a set of take-off Mojave shocks with 5300 miles on em.

If the turn around for rebuild is that long, buy my take offs or another set, swap during the rebuild and then sell them when you get yours back.

I have a few times, and am currently going through this on my JT. Unfortunately I have to wait a few months for the fronts and until end of year for the rears, but my current ones (not a mojave) are no longer performing adequately.

Ya saw those. Unfortunately mine is a 21 so coils all around. Trying to decide what shocks I should go with.
