I know that's a good deal, but what if you didn't want to spend the extra money? Would they have put it they way you asked for free? I know it's more work for them, but dang.
Yeah that was one of the options. I'm not happy about it, But yanking it out and moving it to the front would just leave me with a hole in my rear axle.

A rear locker is usually what people do anyway.

Just picked up my gladiator from regearing to 4.88s. it's so much better with the 35s. So glad I regeared. Still waiting long term tests, but I was averaging 20 mpg on the way home and no more hunting for gears.

I also had a e-locker installed, but unfortunately the shop put it in the rear axle instead of the front like I specified. I wanted in the front since I already had a LSD in the rear. The shop said they would fix it by installing a locker in the front at 50% off and no labor.

WOW! I have to ask, how much did that re-gear run you? I'd like to get 20/gal!!

I would not worry too much about it. I use my rear locker the most..., and it should be better than LSD. I mostly use the front locker when going straight up a rock water fall or straight steep hill in granny gear. It is super hard to turn in the rocks with the front locker on, especially with 10 psi and 37s. Don't get me wrong, it is nice to turn the front lockers on when you get hung up, or between turns in tough obstacles, but, a rear locker is an A+ upgrade.

At that price, might as well do the front also, but, don't expect to be using it a lot.

They should have the LSD to put back in or replace if it is lost. But I agree with most that rear is better for the majority of the time. Just sucks that you have to have it taken apart again. Good discount in trade though.

Interesting. I just got a quote from 4 wheel parts and their quote was for G2. I read it's their house brand but apparently all are made in the same factory. Let me know how your install turned out.
Picked up my JT this morning, they actually installed Yukons.

Couple more products for the Gladiator.

Rockhard 4x4 aluminum mid-width recessed winch bumper, and the Rockhard 4x4 angle up sliders. I also through on the Gear America aluminum shackles.

Probably picking up the HF Badlands Apex winch tomorrow.

How do you like the rack? I'm looking at the same one.
So far so good. Have yet to add the rotopax and treads. I like the adjustability of it as well as being able to to get the side rails separately.
We don't have the rail system so the fact that you can attach it with plates and bolts was a plus. No drilling required. Solid piece.

This is my first post, as I just picked up my Jeep last week, drove it for five days and then dropped it off for the parts to be installed. I loved it stock.. love it even more like this.

2” mopar lift with 1 1/2” level up front. BDS adjustable track bar up front (supposed to be one in the rear but they didn’t install an adjustable one and the wheel sticks out 1/2”-3/4” more on the passenger side) fox dual fox steering stabilizer and bronze method 703 trail series 17x8.5 0mm offset wrapped in 35x12.5x17 kenda klever rt.

Thanks! I watched a video of a guy who added it with the Bak x4s tonneau. I may go that route.
