I have the same tires. Did you remove the heat shield for the spare?

I have not, and it is wedged in there barely. One guy at Discount on his back pressing up while another was cranking it into place.

Did you try airing it down? I have a 37" Toyo R/T in the spare tire hole. If I air it down to about 20#, it slides in and out fairly easily. I have onboard air so I can press it up when needed.

Heat shield is still there and it's a diesel on exhaust.

It's super tight mostly because of the heat shield. Aired down to 20 psi it went in with assistance pushing up and someone cranking.

Replaced my rear shocks yesterday. Lost a seal on the passenger rear. Went ahead and upgraded both rears to the newer Icon 27727CP adjustable version and will have the old ones rebuilt for another time.

How many miles were on the first set of Icons? Is there any warranty on them?

Finally swapped tops for the summer. This is the first time having the soft top with the steelies and I'm liking the nod to the Kaiser. Funny how different the truck looks just by changing the roof line.

How many miles were on the first set of Icons? Is there any warranty on them?

Unfortunately only 8000 miles. but it could have been some dirt or something that cut the seal. The other 3 were fine.

Icon only has a one year manufacturing defect warranty...

Today I screwed up my key, while switching to AJT case. You simply can’t wiggle a weak alloy out of the housing as presented in the video. Likewise you simply can’t remove the proximity chip out of the plastic casing without some mojo surgery.

Nothing wrong with the key being separated lol i dropped my ajt fob a saw the key fly out of the built in pocket once. I immediately drilled the hole after that.

You could just keep an extra battery somewhere outside the jeep. For example,they have a hitch safe for small items. If you lose the fob, you'll need a lock smith reguardless so...
