New Fuel Beasts bronze dark tint. never really was satisfied with the color match of my prior BR Abrams. They are .5” narrower than the BR but my 12.50 nitto ridge grapplers still look great and don’t stick out from the fenders as much. Still enough to get a ticket in some places but not in my AO.

Installed a Bak 4XS. Sorry but not impressed with it. Install instructions on par with ikea and finish trim piece very cheaply made. One end piece was broken off when I removed it from the packaging. The other looks like it’ll probably blow off while at highway speed. I had to install a small machine screw to affix the one that was snapped off and will probably do the same for the other side. the rubber side seals are flapping in the breeze up at the bulkhead. For almost $900 I expected more.

If you got KM3’s, be careful on the wet roads. I’ll never buy those again!
Hahaha EXACTLY what I was thinking!

Great summary. I’m going to re-measure to see my result using this method.
It's one of the few ways I could find to do a fair comparison. If you measure from the ground up - then any change in tire pressure, or tire size, will change the measurement.
I am really only caring about the change of height due to springs, spacers and/or weight.
I tried using the lower part of the fender trim piece, but on the front there are notches on the bottom so it was inconsistent and harder to measure.

I used this measurement years ago when trying to compare my SX4 to a stock SX4 because the front springs on mine are all wrong and it sits too high - but how high is correct? Well by now everyone has changed tires on their 35-40 year old car, so can't go from the ground up - but the center of the wheel to a consistent spot on every Eagle gets the job done.

I had the Backflip MX4 (similar to yours) on my previous Chevy Colorado and was not impressed with the fitment and quality either, especially for the price. I've stuck with Truxedo since and haven't been disappointed.

It was a 107 today! So much for mounting my steering stabilizer and exhaust loop skid!

Decided to use the early morning cool hours to put V2 of my hood decals that @pixeldecals made for me, turned out great!

Really like how the 392 bronze pops against the red, should match my wheels nicely when they're clean.

Pic of the old one for reference, they really held up well, just decided later on I wanted to have the color match and visibility from a distance.

Tactik locking hood latches form Quadratech. The hood/grill covers makes them a little tight(ish), but that is not a bad thing… I do not think(?). Said covers actually fit better now, than with the original and bulky latches.

Being my first Jeep, I am just not overly comfortable without them. Yes… if someone wants “X” bad enough… & mine sits at work nearly all work week long, with only employee traffic (basically)…

What’s is with my small “attachment” photos? This is not the first time, but I see no others, but my own.
I add images, like this...
