Longest road trip you've taken in your Gladiator?

Last year we took our 2020 Rubicon on a 5000 mile 2 week road trip from California to Memphis to Texas and back. The ride was very comfortable for a midsize truck and no problem at all with the truck. My wife also thought the Jeep was very comfortable.

About 6 hours in Mojave mostly dirt some paved...The Truck is amazingly comfortable and the bolstered leather seat with adjustable lumbar support a dream. (I run the tires 34-35 rather than 37 (spec) and it adds to the cool ride).

14 hours, towing a 3500lb travel trailer from New Hampshire to Kentucky, that's 14 hours each way, straight shot traded off drivers stopped for gas and breakfast. Truck was a freaking champ. at like 9 hours in you hit the mountains of west Virginia and she just revs up and never slows.

Returning from Moab to my house in Northern California. Was approximately 14 hours, only stopping for gas.

Pretty comfortable. My butt really didn’t get sore. But I was towing my TJ so I was stopping for gas about every two hours, maybe 2 1/2 hours so I was getting a quick stretch in every time.

Off topic but I’m curious if I can ask details on what type of trailer you use to haul your TJ. I’m thinking of getting a trailer in the future to haul our TJ with our JTmt.

I did a flat tow. It worked very well. I would recommend inflating your tires above standard driving PSI. Helped with reducing rolling resistance.

Ok thanks for the reply. I’m definitely wanting hauler. Figure less stress on me if suffer some sort of trail damage/breakage and need to get the TJ home for repair.

Just curious, what's the longest you've driven in one day and in one overall trip? Did you find the Gladitor fatiguing on a longer highway trip? I got my quotes on a Rubicon and a Mojave and am just wavering on the Gladiator vs a few other options I also liked for different reasons.

13 hours 870 miles in a single day - no issues other than lotsa bugs on the windshield ?

I do 400-450 miles pretty regularly. My longest are about 600 miles. It’s super comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to go longer. It’s the best riding vehicle I’ve ever had and I love the seats and infotainment.

Non-stop from Houston TX to almost Huntsville AL. stopping only for fuel and short walk stretching back n legs last year. The route I took was about 760 miles, S### loads of road construction max speed was 45 mph for close to 150-200 miles damn I-State. TX and LA hwys faster on trip down. Something I did that helps on comfort in the Sport S seat is I folded towel at front side of seat under the seat cover I have installed. I'm 6ft or so tall.

900 miles in a single day is my top, and that was with only 2 stops because I was so sick of driving from the 700 miles the day before.

I regularly do trips in the 5-700 mile range one way( every few months), the curse of living of the center of the US is everything cool is a 10+hour drive away.

I am very comfortable in the JT cab, so the long drives don’t bother me, I have done longer in much worse (cross country uhaul, towing a car). But I will say a good dead pedal really helps me put pressure on and stretch out my back and keep myself comfortable. I have the one from quadratech and it dramatically improved comfort.

not real issues....other than the steering....good god in heaven. spent so much time always adjusting steering down the highway...was exhausted when done driving for the day,
that and the gas mileage....lol...

and i would do it again. but i would have planned more offroad/beach driving.
