Just a few small items I wish jeep would change for the gladiator facelift:

Better side mirrors (or offer factory tow mirrors)
Power rear sliding window on the hardtop
Dead pedal
Extra power port in the left cubby blank on the models without lockers or locate factory brake controller here
A material other than black vinyl on the armrest, which is hotter than hell with the top off
Addition of a keypad for entry like the bronco has
One faster speed for the windshield wipers
Front bench seat and column shift to make the cabin feel less cramped (OK, maybe not so small, but boy would it be nice!)

What would you like to see?
Only one but it is major. Make a deal with GM to put the 5.3 v8 in it.

I would love this to be added to the JT, it's already a proven item at FCA, so would be a good feature on the JT IMHO......

for me it would be better than what is currently on the JT, I don't load the tailgate, I rarely stand on the tailgate when using the rest of the bed, so for me it would make sense.....might not work for all, but hey the title did say what would "you" like to see, just like an EV, or Rubicon, or V8/ hemi/ 392 would not be for everyone....

oh and according to a MT article " It retails for $995 and an optional retractable center step adds another $295. Ram says the new tailgate retains the strength of a dampened drop-down tailgate, and has a 2,000-pound load rating. "

I would assume the JT tailgate if it were to be like this wouldn't have the same capacity, but would be relative to the JT payload.

What would you like to see?
I would like a better cooling on the diesels
Ability to shift to 3 rd gear when towing
Better windshield on my fourth at 28k miles
And bigger tires and lift on stock Rubi

Would like to see Hybrid with more range than 22 miles, USB power hidden so cables can be ran better to hide them, Wireless phone charging and wireless apple car play.

Bigger mirrors are a must.
Either more engine options or a big retune of the available engine to lower and increase the torque (torque peak is way too high) - and have a manual transmission option for all engines.
Auxiliary or optional extra fuel tank.

Really? How so?

Kevin
The transition from electric to gas power (while driving) is very clunky and feels poorly implemented. This happens when the 20-ish mi electric range is depleted in all electric-mode or when you need more power than the electric motor can deliver by itself. Once the battery is down, you now have over 1,000 extra lbs to lug around, which kills the MPG and performance. Love the concept, but hope 2.0 is much improved over the gen 1 4xe.

Redesign the hard top to have removable freedom panels in the 2nd row and to have the rear window roll down like on a Toyota.
If you took out the rear section of the hardtop and removed the glass, you basically wouldn't have any hard top left! Or maybe that's the idea. Toyota's roll down rear window is the single best option in a modern pickup truck/SUV. I'd settle for jeep putting a flip-up glass window in like the JL has

Yes, if I could flip back my Sunrider and roll down the back window, I’d be happy.

Or adding back freedom panels, with a roll down window, would essentially let me be topless without any help in about 5 minutes.

Not true at all, have you actually had one or just repeating the talking points of non-owners. The gas engine transition in most cases is pretty seemless, only really noticeable if you floor it and even then it's just a brief delay before you get shoved even further in to the seat. The battery is never fully dead though so the acceleration on tap does not change from 100% to 0% and is proven to be as fast as the 392 from 0-330 feet before the computer limits it to fall slightly behind. The only gripe we have after 13k miles on ours is the smaller fuel tank, which makes long road trips need more gas stops, but it makes up for it with about 4-600 miles between fill ups around town.

Drove one for a week and hated it. To be clear, I’m talking about the transition from full electric once the battery is depleted beyond the ability to use it in full electric mode, not in hybrid mode. It’s drivability is the main reason I didn’t pursue one. That, and the inability to fold the rear seats flat due to the battery placement. There are a lot of journalists that have written articles echoing these sentiments about the drivetrain programming. In all fairness, I drove it when they first came out. I’ve had zero interest in driving one since ?

There’s definitely some improvements that can be made. Off the top of my head.
1. Better seats and seating position without having to buy seat risers.
2. More power for the JT for sure. The 3.6 is probably more than adequate for a 2 door JL but this big long beast.
3. I’d like a roll down back glass like Yotas and offer. Would make removing the back top section easier or less necessary at times.
4. Recon package/more diff gear options from factory/35s from factory.
5. All the windows a bit taller. I can see so much better out of my TJ than my JT. Just seeing if the street light is green yet I have to hunch down. Looking left for traffic the rollbar ( especially if you add a grab handle) is a struggle at times.

- overhead/panoramic camera to see all around the vehicle (would be nice for mall crawling and off-roading)
- vented front seats
- that modular hardtop concept/patent
- steel lock box under front seat (Lexus has a safe in the center console of the GX)
- cooling options for the diesel

- an easier way to fit a single car seat in the middle without having to lose functionality of the other two rear seats
- a retractable divider screen around the driver seat so I don’t have to listen to my wife and daughter ask me why we have the top and doors off all the time

Best ones so far!
