An 18' garage? I know they get down to 20x20 but 18'? Guess I never thought about them being so small. I think the smallest I've ever had is 24x24. Got a 24x30 now. Plenty of room to park the vehicles and do some shop work. :)

My garage is exactly 218 inches long, same as the Gladiator. Any suggestions on front or rear bumpers that tuck significantly to reduce a couple of inches? Preferably one that’s also lightweight.
call in a contractor and expand your garage with a bump out or an exterior coil-up garage door. In a similar fashion, installing ramps at the end of your garage can help alleviate the length problem.

If remodeling isn’t a feasible solution, then you can try adjusting your parking technique and angling your pickup truck until it completely fits inside the garage.

You could put a ramp that slightly inclines towards the back of your garage…effectively making your Gladiator the hypotenuse of the triangle instead of the horizontal leg that is limited to 218 inches.

A 15 degree incline for example would free up about 7 inches ??‍♂

Thanks for the replies. I already normally park outside but wanted to park In the garage when I remove the top. It’s a 20x20 garage but has some built in storage that’s in the way. My wife won’t sign off on cutting the wall or removing the storage hence I’m looking for another option.

I’ll give the diagonal and ramp option a try to see if that helps first. I do have some ramps already that I can try. I’m literally 1 inch too long right now.

you have probably thought of this, and maybe tried, but what about moving the storage to the side wall where there might be a little more room. I know I have to reconfigure my garage storage (even put some up above vehicles in order to fit everything in. Just trying to give you some options, disregard my comment if already thought of/ tried....best of luck

Really modify the storage if possible so that it is above your hood and be done with it, taking off the rear tow hooks is an option, then get a hitch skid with shackle eye like the Warfab Sheridian. Could look at some small front bumper like perhaps like the aluminum Genright front bumper, looks like without the bump pads on front might give you more.
I think you are looking at this all wrong, "Honey you are right about the storage, I can get a lightweight (fuel efficient) aluminum bumper that will made some room, and take off the rear tow hooks and we are golden, I'll have to get something that can slide in the hitch, but don't worry I got this babe",!!!!...........Jack

My house (~40 years old) is a complete money pit, but it’s got a good size garage (at least two feet to spare, length wise), so I guess I’ve got that going for me. ?

Look at it this way: is what's in the small storage in your garage worth more than the gladiator, and gladiator parked outside? And like others have said, keep the storage and move it elsewhere to where your vehicle investment is protected. Trust me I'm in the same boat, house built in '83, I test drove a gladiator home to check fitment. Front end against drywall, back end clears garage door with a little less than 2" to spare. And I really like the creating a nook idea and have decided to do this myself once the gladiator arrives! It's not tearing down a wall or anything drastic, exterior wall still intact, it's just making a little space... no different than cutting a space in the bathroom wall to install a medicine cabinet, etc. I'd keep the towhooks absolutely and look at these simple solutions here : )

I’m with you…I thought this may be a good excuse to get new bumpers?
