OP has not been back since he posted. Probably the typical one post (insert problem here) pump and dump to never be seen again.Your title was a bit hard to read through and understand what happened. Fill us in to what happened with the transmission.
Is this an accident or warranty repair? Try one of the salvage places, like LKQ. If it is warranty, look into the Lemon Laws.Well since I'll be here for a minute, allow me to attempt a thread hijacking.
Anyone know where I can get a frame? I am being told that the dealership has no idea when it will get off backorder.
Personally, I'm having a hard time figuring this out. Does Jeep have a stockpile of frames that aren't already allotted for production? A certain number of spares per run? Do they have a few rejects that they're willing to pass off on me? Will they have to specially fabricate one just for me?
For the record I don't want a new frame, I'd much prefer a new Gladiator. I'm also wondering how long they'll "look" before deciding on a different course of action. I don't think there are salvage frames, as that would be one of the parts most likely to be damaged on a salvaged vehicle.
Any ideas?
Just look at the anger, and the people who have demanded, yes, that word, that dealers take parts off new vehicles to fix theirs. You can see it in their posts.........Who here thinks it's only them?
Who here thinks their situation is unique?
Anyone?
I'm just looking for information. This is a forum, that's all we can provide to each other. I'm not here to compete with how bad your cousin has it.
