i purchased: Rugged Ridge Armis Hard Folding Tonneau Cover with LINE-X - 13550.24 for my new Gladiator from 4WP based on posts in this thread. I mentioned that Jeep forum stated 15% off price, which I did not see, and they gave it to me with free shipping. I really like the hard cover over the soft and the third fold level is up providing additional space.

I just installed the rugged ridge soft tri-fold cover today after work . It was easy & seems like good quality. Excuse my dirty Jeep I’m working a long stretch.

Does anyone have any pics of the Rugged Ridge Hard Rolling Cover installed? I assume it looks similar to the soft Tri fold pic just more flush to the bedsides. Also I called BAKFLIP and they said they are currently working on designing/sizing all of their Tonneau covers for the Gladiator. They said hopefully next month something will be announced but not sure if they will be for sale that soon. I couldn't wait so I ordered the Rugged Ridge Hard Rolling, I got 10% off @ 4wd.com on their spend $250 save 10% promo and there is a $100 mail in rebate for Rugged Ridge is you purchase by end of Sept so I pulled the trigger. Total cost will be $808 before tax which I think is fair. I will post a pic when I install it in a week or so.

So I received the cover and what Quadratec has advertised is wrong. You NEED the Trail Rail System for the Rugged Ridge Hard Rolling Tonneau cover. There is not 2 sets of brackets for this yet. The non trail rail brackets are in the process of being produced and I was told directly by Rugged Ridge that this could take 30 days to 6 months to complete and ship. This is beyond frustrating to me after spending all this $ but the trail rail was on my list of things to buy so this has essentially fast forwarded that purchase. I hope to get this all on within the next couple weeks and will post pics once its complete.

you've got options, mopar trail rail. @BuiltRight is working on a rail, or make one out of wood temporarily like I did. its in my gladys build thread in my signature.

thx, love your thread good luck w it and welcome to the family! I actually ordered a Trail Rail system yesterday, got 20% off from a friend. I need my tonneau cover on asap, fall right around the corner, nothing more annoying than top off and leaves from my bed flying all over my truck when driving...

Finally got the Rugged Ridge Hard Rolling cover installed, downside was I needed to purchase and install the Trail rail system in order to install this Tonneau cover. It was on my list of things to add anyway so not the end of the world but I wasn’t planning on doing it now. Quadratec was incorrect you NEED the Trail Rail System for the Hard Rolling Tonneau install, I confirmed this with Rugged Ridge. For both the Trail Rail and the Tonneau it took about 3 hours and I was going slow to make sure I did it all correctly, had to adjust the Tonneau a couple times but finally got it dialed in. It’s good quality, feels solid and def is a more finished look for the Gladiator. It doesn’t look like the seals all sit flush so I’m not expecting 100% waterproof but it should be good enough. Overall I’m happy and hope that it holds up ok over time. Not a cheap day for me but glad it’s done!

might want to get a piece of weather stripping or foam to bump up that whole rear part. The Maxmate came with such a piece of foam.
