mmmm, bourbon.
I've been trying out some small, local craft distilleries lately. Been tasting the offerings of Redwood Empire Whiskeys. Lost Monarch is a great sipping whiskey. It's an good blend of Bourbon and Rye whiskeys and is really nice. Has a hint of bourbon sweetness with a touch of...
when I ordered my JTR a couple of years ago, I had to also order the garage door opener. I don't have a garage, thus no garage door.
What else can I use those buttons for? bugs me that I have these things on there that I can't use.
How well does it keep out dust? One thing I've read about the alu-cabs is that they are pretty well sealed since they replace the tailgate with the barn door. Any issues?
One thing about the Hiatus camper is that when you collapse the pop-up wall, there's a gap between it and the roof. I'd be concerned that would let water in if it's rainy and windy, thus getting your bed area wet.
I've learned about twice as many camper options from this thread already. Not quite there with a need for a camper, but maybe. lol
I'm curious what others experiences are with the Vagabond and Super Pacific. I kind of like the seemingly better build quality a bit more than the GFC, but seems...
It's like you keep reading my mind before I do. First the Squeeze and now this. I was just thinking if anyone has mounted one on their gladiator, and if so, how and where? I was also wondering about the location and heat. I was searching youtube and nothing, then thought I needed to check here...
How are folks paying for these? Feel like I need to do a lot of OT and also get paper route to do this. Did you have $15G's saved up/sitting around? Anyone get an RV loan? Do these qualify for RV loans?
I actually like that green, probably would've picked it over the Sting Gray. it's a million times better than that Gecko color. Now that's one of the worst colors for anything bigger than a night light, and Nacho is only slightly better.
beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I know some say the gladiator is ugly, but almost every chevy truck i've ever seen is either the most boring looking vehicle, or the most hideous.
I have no problems with my Pentastar. I too came from a V6 1st Gen Tacoma. It gets me where I want to go. Pulled my trailer no problem. Carries my stuff. Gets me home. Gets me to 75mph +/- on the freeway no problem. Has been extremely reliable and has done everything I've asked it to do, except...
Both. I had a tacoma for 20 years and liked having a truck to carry stuff. I also have a small travel trailer that I wanted to tow around, and the 7000lb towing capacity is more than enough to meet my need for that, and then some.
Used the plastic plate mount from the steel OEM bumper and mounted it on top of the bumper in front of the winch control box with a couple of L-brackets.
The amp draw is 8.3A per light. So that's a total draw of 16.8. So is the relay needed if you plan to run it to one of the 15A switches, or do I need to use one of the larger switches?
I think I"m getting a set for x-mas from wifey, so this thread interests me.
