Let me know next time you go. I've been doing some exploring up in Mendo and Snow Mountain, but it's been such a long time since I've been to Cow, I wouldn't even know where to go.
That was rad! didn't look like he came out much worse for wear either. I think I remember seeing some photos of the test trucks doing the Rubicon on 31" and 33" tires. Gives me hope!
Definitely want to see this. Definitely a run I want to do some day. I have no plans for a big lift and tires as in I'll probably put 35s on when I wear out the stock MTs, but would like to see someone else do it first. lol
Probably some KC Gravity Pros for the front and set of amber rear trailing lights, possibly some headliners and a sun-shade.
or
ask me in another year or so, and I'll say a set of new tires.
This is my first jeep. My last was a '98 Tacoma I drove for 20 years. So yeah, I don't go through vehicles very often. I'm hoping this one lasts me a long time.
Yes. Mine fit perfectly using the Rockhard 4x4 winch plate.
Here's a whole thread on installing the winch. Many of us have the OEM steel bumper. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/new-apex-12k-harbor-freight-winch-install.23358/page-11#post-837505
Picked up my JTR in March 2020, has about 20,000 miles, no mis-firing issues. Actually hardly any issues other then an electrical gremlin that was found and fixed under warranty by my local dealership.
the way it's set-up seems very natural to me. 1 as at the top/up of the list, and you go down/backwards as the number gets higher.

I would also add that just because something was "made in [overseas country]" that it's automatically poor quality. I've seen poor quality things "Made in the USA", and high quality things from other countries. Quality of manufacture is determined by the oversite of the company requesting the...
I’ll look into it. I had to finance through the dealership to get the below invoice pricing. I guess I could start with them? Or should I check with my local credit union?
I've got about a year left. I've been wondering if I should look into replacing the lease with regular financing. Or do I need to wait till the lease is up? Do I need to keep praying the chip shortage continues to keep prices up? I think the residual I was given was around $36K. MSRP was $55K...
I can do this on my JTR. You can start it up, lock the doors and walk away with the fob. You can even drive away without the fob once it's started. You just won't be able to restart it if you turn it off later without it.
I appreciate the slammed jeeps more then a 'roided out mall crawlers on 40's. Neither are my jam, but at least one is not trying to be something it isn't.
Picked up in the morning in SoCal, and drove 8-10 hours to NorCal. I think I did the "cruising speed" the first 300 miles between 55-65, no big deal since I was driving through LA. lol Then I hit the I-5 and the legal speed limit is 70, actual more like 85. I cruised at 75 most of the way home...
