Problem solved. It was my butt tapping the lever. Paid close attention and the problem went away. Now if I can just turn it into a habit.

Are manuals realistically available again? JEEP wasn’t making any for a long time.

I’m sorry, I gotta say it. The “manual mode” and the “paddle shifters” on automatics are as much of a joke on a Porsche as on a Hyundai (and everything in between). It’s makes it a manual as much as a skirt on a boar makes for a prom date.

Saw this today. I guess the Wrangler owner wanted a Gladiator, but went about it in a unique way.

No need for 2 people. I’ve installed mine twice all by myself. Read the instructions, then read them again and you’ll be Ok.

I purchased my Gladiator 9/30/19 and bought the Sunrider the next day. When the temps began to drop in November I pulled it off and reinstalled the freedom panels, as was the plan. About 3 days later I put my Sunrider back on and it has been on ever since. The Freedom Panels reside in the attic...

That’s great info. The winch is $600 new at Harbor Freight. Which means you MIGHT find it on sale one day (or might not) for $500. So yours would be a great deal for someone. Wish I was closer. Good luck with that. Nice install link, too. Thanks

Well THATS interesting! I will pay attention and see what happens. I have to pump it on long trips (3-4 hours) but I guess getting out for gas, pit-stops, etc comes onto play. Thanks!
