We bought my wife an '18 JLU. I thought she'd get tired of it and I'd end up driving it. Turned out the opposite happened. I liked it so much I wanted my own, so when the gladiator came out I traded in my tundra for one.
Interesting. I haven't noticed that with mine. Not to insult your intelligence.... but have you tried loosening the connection at the HD bars to make sure they aren't creating tension? Make all the bed connections tight first and then cinch the bolts to the crossbars.
Just a thought.
It seems like it COULD work.... Although I think it would function better in the closed position, the open position might be a little funky. I'm in Alabama and shade is a must. I picked up the bestop extended bikini top. It's inexpensive and does it's job- but I would not call it convenient...
I wish the buyer of this vehicle would join the forum and just explain the intended use. I'm sure they'd get flamed- but I'm legit curious about what one does with a vehicle like that
I attached a ratchet strap from one trail rail to the other and used them to pull each other out (let me pull straight across). The double sided tape is rather impressive...
Bumping this post back up to see if anyone's gone this route. I just missed out on a Wilco offset that I found on Facebook Marketplace. After doing some more digging it seems like the RIGd gets better reviews. Any feedback/ pics / real world experience would be appreciated
You can always swap to synthetic to save some weight on the front end. I find all kinds of uses for my winch. Used it to pull out a stubborn mailbox this weekend
@smlobx Any pics of the Wilco Offset on the Gladiator? Considering going this route after flat tire on the trail had me laying in the mud to get to my spare. Assuming it would block the back up camera and probably interfere with the sensors though....?
Has anyone needed to (figured out how to) adjust the front latches? When I first installed the sunrider it was tight and had very little wind noise. Now I'm noticing a lot of wind uplift noise from the passenger side.
I spoke with Warn. They have basically stopped shipping these doors until they can work out production issues (I think they are coming out of Russia?). Apparently a LOT of orders went out with damage or missing parts. He said they wouldn't have any replacement parts available until June at...
I've got the camp chef dual burner. Basically the same as a coleman, I think. I do like that it has an igniter built in. I'm shopping the hose adapter @Free2roam mentioned because the hard pipe is a PITA.
If I was buying one today I'd give the folding Jetboil a long look. It's compact and...
