Looking to order my wheels and tires for my JTRD and looking at getting the Method 701s. I'm currently planning on getting 38s and in the future 40s so I'm leaning on the 17x9(versus the 17x8.5) but I don't want the bulldozer look. These are -12 offset. Anyone running these? Love to get some...
Yea the guy doesn't even have a diesel lol. I'm about 2 weeks out(hopefully) on getting my JTRD. Bout a decade ago, I swapped a VW TDI 1.9 in my old YJ and absolutely LOVED it. Never had any problems with it but the rest of the Jeep was nickel and dimen me to death so when I knew I was moving...
Jeep sells vehicles now with 35s and it's their damn JOB. The dealer is just trying to get out of extra work. Once again, the worst part about owning a jeep is the dealers. Stop trying to defend incompetence.
Well emailed Daniel today about the fact that it's been over 2 months now since I've ordered and I'm still "waiting on parts" where a couple weeks ago it was "all parts collected" He responded telling me that's actually normal which doesn't seem to be the case here. ALSO since it hasn't...
Not sure but thinking was the same. I'm already planning on replacing the tails with the thin ones and rather go HIDevolution for the headlights. I guess if I'm stuck with the leds, I'll just sell them after.
Side note is that Jeep Chat escalated my order today without me asking. Was planning...
Well just checked in to Jeep Wave to get an update on my JTRD build placed 7/12. Says still waiting on parts(which is backwards progress) BUT at least this time she told me it was due to a missing chip. Here's my build:
White Rubicon Diesel
Forward cam
cold wx package
led's (which I removed...
Yea not good. Only silver lining is I *might* be able to modify my order. Decided on I'd rather have snazzleberry over the white now. Waiting on Grupton to see if it's possible. Don't want to delay this even more though.
Well depending on the stock charge tubes(still waiting on my JTRD to be built) if they are soft rubber type hoses it will improve engine response as well. This is because the soft rubber hoses will expand and contract. Larger diameter also means better flow so again better engine response.
Well looks like my JTRD ordered on 7/12 has gone BACKWARDS in the process. Before it was "all parts collected, waiting in line for assembly". Now it's back to "waiting on parts". No bueno.
I stopped reading this thread after the second page. This forum is becoming full of know it's all Karens/Boomers and Millienums or whatever the new snowflakes are call now. Funny yet annoying.
First thing I plan on doing is opening up the seat belt buckle to wire it together so the car thinks...
Then he's a bigger idiot than I thought lol. Slapping a SC on the 3.6 brings a whole mess of reliability issues, good tune or not. Add that to the weaker trans you get with the NA, even worse mpg, and everything else just isn't worth it in the end IMO.
but hey some people live their lives in...
