After installing my brake controller and thinking I would not need a 12V plugging. What do you all think of this location for a 12V plug? It is out of the way of the knees and easily accessible. Or does it look like a wart on the face? Other suggestions as I have looked inside the glove box and under it. Back of the center console is hard to get to and inside of the center console does not have the right angles to access the port if installed inside.

If the mount had an angle to it It would work on the angled ledge inside of the center console. I would need to make something I think and not sure if I really want to go to THAT much trouble but may have to.

? Not a lot of mounting options. My OCD couldn’t take it mounted there. I vote for somewhere hidden - if possible.

Haha, yeah that is my problem too. I just may need to figure something out to make it work on the angled ledge inside the center console.

How about moving it up a bit, so it blends in more, and less chance of being hit by passenger, we both know the wires reach there also, so less wiring to do. I might go that way. Thanx for posting that!....Jack

With this mount you have to be careful with the angles and where you do put it as it will start having gaps around it. This spot is pretty flush and out of the way of knees.

honestly, I prefer a flush mount. There is plenty of room in the center console.

Ya I don't like it. Sorry.

In the center console with a usb if that's that you need, or if you are after 12vt for accessories I would run an independent plug to the back passenger area and set it under the rear seat.

Only place I can come up with in the center console is the angled surface that is on the drivers side - front of the center console (inside). Is that the area you are referring to?

Looked at that and it is an option. Not sure about the wires and routing so as to not pinch or bend. But it could work.

Yeah I guess there is no reason it cannot go to inside with the wires plugged into it that way, hmmm.
