So unlike the JK can't just move a fuse..thanks Jeep. I need to have it hot any time I have something pluged in..like a arb. I have a Odyssey battery.
Options are make a jumper wire like CoolTech's or what about this..anyone use one?

I had cooltech’s in my Mojave. I have it for my sport, but haven’t put it on yet. It works fine.

The part # 13748474 crosses over to Mopar 68083380AA also. Those are like $16.

I needed a high current source, so I ran a dedicated line from the battery (via a 30A fuse) to a 12V accessory socket in the driver's footwell.

It's just a relay that's readily available. You should see a bunch of them in the fuse box. The secret is knowing where to plug it in. Is that worth the extra $20? Only you can decide...

Do you have the aux switches? Because in that case, you have a constant hot under your glove box.
I attached that to a busbar underneath the glove box to get connections for my voltage monitor and dash cam.

So that's the question or do you know where it goes?

I have the Acc switches..not wanting to use them or any alternate method, worst case I'll just jumper it.
Just wanting to know if anyone has used this..

I've read about the Mods to make the 12v port active all the time. I don't recall anyone posting about the relay option listed on eBay. I have the factory installed AUX Switches. I have a busbar placed underneath the glove box connecting the 12v hot wire for the items that need it.

For the fridge, I have a portable power box to feed it in the cab that is charged by the 120v outlet while driving. I have a third battery in the back that is charged when the engine is running. I installed a 12v power port, connected to the third battery, to run the fridge when it's in the back.

I have the 115 plug in the cab so thats handled.
I have a AluCab canopy camper 400w solar, 230ah LiTime battery, 3kw inverter so thats handled.
I just would like a simple fix like the relay to make the 12v dash plug hot 24/7 but seems no one has done it yet..
I know I can do it other ways..not what i'm asking about.

My concern would be the total draw and the ability of the factory 12v power port to handle it. I use the port for charging my Bluetooth earpiece and a tablet, so came up with other options for dash cam and fridge.

Ok, how is pulling a relay and installing another "if possible" not the cleanest way. I never said its not the cleanest..
ya all continue to offer solutions that I said I know about but was wondering if anyone tried the relay.

I'm done with this thread.

There's no response because no one here has done it, or will admit to it. I've read through all the posts in this section since joining in 2019, and none of them have been about the ebay relay method. Yes, it is the cleanest method, if it works. You've been offered alternatives because we don't have an answer to your question. Jeep purposely designed it to not be always hot, and to stay on only for a limited time after the engine is off. Most people live with that limitation, or come up with an alternative to meet their needs. The alternatives have been shared here, but not the specific one you're asking about.
