It does. I still got at least some on the floor. My wife’s Volvo would come out so fast it would overflow the well in the top of the pan before it could drain in. Drove me nuts. Plus the transfer of the dirty pan into a container to take to the parts store. I installed a valve on hers as well.
All this talk of F106 Fumotos has got me convinced. Thinking about but hesitated because I dont want to knock it off. Was thinking about the F106S that has the short tube then they sell a cheap thing that pushes into any tube and you just pop it on there and turn the valve less sticking down . What do ya think 🤔?

I run a F106SX Fumoto valve. With it, you can index it where it is not sticking straight back and down.

So it could go to the side with a slight downward angle?
Does it stay tight if bumped or nudges - you know how some things are, if that got bumped to the right, in the "loosen direction" of threads, would it not come loose?
Asking just out of curiosity - my Javelin is a pain in the ass to change oil in and if I could slip a hose over and flip a lever....... but nothing can stick down as the car hangs up on parking lot speed bumps as it is.

Correct. So long as it is clocked 90-270 degrees, it will drain the maximum amount.

If you torque to spec, it is not moving. The base that butts against the thread bung has a o-ring compression that maxes out when the main body makes contact.

Thanks, Hootbro, figured as much. I am just not in shape to lift these large tires any more, too many years of abusing my back!.
I absolutely do. Five way rotation only requires one jack and only need to lift the tires 1/2” off the ground.
You just need this :

Yes, I do - and hey, my birthday is coming up in February!
Or, my wife likes lots of presents under the Christmas tree - she'd love to have that under the tree (then ask me "what the @#% is that thing?" and I'd say- "it's so I can rotate the tires on your JLU more easily, honey" - making it a gift for both of us!)

I previously had the short one. It’s negligible as far as ground clearance goes. Maybe 5/16 longer. But it works fine. I switched to the long because it was easy to bump the hose off of the shirt. Without a skid though, I’d get the short. With, I’d go long.

I wanted four of them to move an entire jeep. Too expensive. But yes. I want one.
I have a full set of 4 wheel dollies - set a vehicle on them and you can push it in any direction around the shop. But - they are made to jack up one end, set a pair under, then do the other end. They aren't good for tire rotations.

I bought some of those just last week to do the Willy’s project. The casters are terrible and I can’t move it easily at all.

It’s terrible when we have to be worried about a simple oil change and tire rotation service.
Sure is... I caught the GM dealer charging me for stuff they didn't do. Then the valet wrecked my van to boot. $2,100 damage.

I raised hell...

Its getting real bad out there...

Time to hit the weights 💪 🏋🏋 then you can just do a cling and Jerk on that bad boy. 😂
Ok, clowning around aside .

Are the casters all steel? If they aren't then that may be the problem . Im sure someone probably makes a better caster .
